u see, unlike china, india has a whole lot of different type of people residing here. ur country has mongoloid ppl only. our country has many more races.

I don't think you're really here to learn, but let me educate you a bit.

Bollywood has artistes from a pretty diverse background. We have hindus, muslims, christians, parsis. We have people from the north, from the south, from the east and from the west. We have very fair artistes and some pretty dusky ones as well. I think Bollywood is pretty representative of India actually.

Ok. That makes sense. But what about society pressure? Police and justice system in Pakistan is no better than India. Political elites are also untouchables, may be more so. But rape brings somehow wrath of society. It is hated by all. A rapist will be thrashed by common people before he even makes it to police. People of that locality will arrive at his house and meet his parents. In short his entire family will be brought to shame. Now this crime happens in Pakistan. All I am saying is, society is less tolerant to this crime. How would you compare Indian society on this issue?

on this thoh, lot of my indian brothers as well my pakistani frens wud disagree.
i think, overall indian society is more silent than its pakistani counterpart. they are more interested in hushing up than rise up to demand for justice (candle light vigils dont work).
rapid development brought women out of their "chaar deewaari". gone are the days when women were safe (hopefully) in their houses. their is a huge influx of women workforce (educated as well as uneducated) in the society as a whole. hooligans always existed, but this the first time they got a chance to play more sinister games. helped with the inefficiency of the police force (universal in india), "tu jaanta hai mai kaun hoon" attitude and the general ineptitude of the "raah chalta public", even common mongrels get the daring to have a go at the women they wud otherwise never get to court (aka date).
slow but steady moral degradation is also a big factor in all this. and as u said, it is hated by all here too, but "aag " tabhi lagti hai jab pichhwara apna ho, warna sab apne apne kaam par.

Bollywood only cherry picked those white-looking pale Indian actors/actresses, and I don't think those Mongoloid looking folks in the NE India will ever get a chance in the spotlight.

Maybe they can play as the 'villains' in the Indian movies such as the PLA army.

Well it is not true for all but most Nigerian women in Saket and Malviya Nagar areas are actually hookers..and drug dealers.

One can see a lot of Nigerian women in streets of Malviya nagar after midnight.

It is actually a quite popular pick point...It is the dark underbelly of delhi.

I don't know whether this story is entirely true but India should do more to curb this. I unable to figure out why it happens so frequently. Rapid westernization of society? Suddenly too much money with Indian youth? Rising bar and alcohol culture? Bollywood masala? Something to do with Indian women? Parents are not taking care of their children? Inefficient police? I mean what is it? Some Indian member, please help me make sense of it!

Only one of the reasons you have speculated is true - inefficient policing. Like most other not so rich countries, India has very few policemen per population, and they get very little budget.

Westernization, money, alcohol, bollywood have nothing to do with rapes. It's not like only rich people rape.

BTW, the number of rapes in India is not comparitively higher than most other places, if you look at population size. USA has far more rapes per capita than India does. I don't know the figures for Pakistan. (That doesn't make it tolerable or excusable, every single rape is a crime, and the rapists deserve to be punished harshly.)
