It looks like a sabot of some sort for the rocket which is right next to it.

I know an ex-Nigerian squadie who loves his dumbbells. Maybe marketing ploy? Not sure.

Explosives ,they sit inside that "dumbell",the pointing thing is the fuse of the AP round.

Hi,

The explosives sit in that long round yellow copperish brassy thingy that you call a shell---.

The dumbell thingy is the casing for the sabot---that seperates during flight.
