How are they "failed"? SK and Japan are among the most prosperous countries in Asia, and many Asians in the region want to migrate there for a better standard of living.

Yes, if Iran can stand against the US in the Iran gulf, why can't Vietnam in our turf? Vietnam should learn from Iran.

Not too long ago, the Southern Vietnamese laugh at Northern Vietnamese, thinking the North as stupid and not able to run the economy. That was the reason power over the economy was given to traitor like Nguyen Tan Dung and all his Southern gangs.

Thanks to proximity of China supply chain, the North is now the industrial base on Vietnam while the South become Wall St.

This circumstances certainly helps the Northern Cadre to regain their policy making power over economy and help consolidate power on Pham Minh Chinh.

South Vietnamese cannot control Vietnam, the country will breaks up. The South are too myopic.

Even Southern government, some are highly sympathizing to North. Ngo Dinh Diem wanted peace with Ho Chi Minh, that's why they killed him, meanwhile, Duong Van Minh, last president of South Vietnam, peacefully surrendered to the North.
