You might be interested to know, India had to release three known militants due to the hijacking, Mushtaq Ahmed Zargar, Ahmed Omar Saeed Sheikh and Maulana Masood Azhar.

Masood Azhar is the person we are talking about here. Ahmed Omar Saeed Sheikh is the person who had abducted and beheaded Daniel Pearl, the American reporter.

There are THREE types of Militants in Pakistan

1 Anti India such as this guy Masood Azhar and JUD / LET

2 Anti Pakistan such as TTP ;BLA

3 Anti Afghanistan such as Haqqanis and Afghan Taliban

The Zarb E Azb has been targetted at Anti Pakistan Militants

For the Anti India groups it is business as usual
