Unless we hear from Russia's military about who fired the missiles and where it came from in another couple of hours, it was neither US nor Israel. Russia has capable radars in Syria and missile attacks or air raids cannot happen without them knowing and detecting them.

The size of explosion doesn't mean anything. Even a grenade can start a massive explosion if it explodes inside a weapon depot.
