New strike corps for China border

.
Thats the main point you made yourself safe by the nukes you have but in case of india and china nukes dsnt comes in the picture both of us are armed with huge huge amount of conventional wepons (though china has more of that) and thats the very reason why this is happening

Yea but thats my point they can beat you financially and spend more what you gonna do then With us we just had to get nukes we dont care how much india spends on convent weapons.

india is not as strong as china thats true but its almost impossible for china to defeat india on indian soiljust as for USA to defeat china on chinese soil

.
is that comparable to the Nanjing baggage? you guys apprently have been carrying that for a lot longer.

Today, Japan is not a military threat to China.

There are no real war scenarios there. They have a pacifist constitution, no nukes, etc.

the article clearly says that this division will have only 1 work ie if there is a war and pla moves in they will be given the task to capture area of tibes to get the bargaining chip to india this will probably be our deterance against chinese

In 1962, the Chinese and Indian economies were of similar size.

In 2011, China's economy is four times bigger than the Indian economy, with comensurate military spending.

As your own Armed Forces have said, the gap between China and India is now too big for India to catch up.

any misadventure by the PLA will further strengthen Anti-China feelings in the world, something you can ill-afford. And allow me to re-iterate, India's doctrine doesn't call to catch up with PLA's capabilities. We intend to have minimum deterence, to ensure China remains incapable of bullying us.

Remind me, how did the Indian government respond to the most recent round of stapled visas?

By closing Chushul airfield after Chinese objections?

LOL, so China issues a new round of stapled visas, and India closes down Chushul airfield.

Then a long time afterwards, they make a random move that does not actually punish China at all, for yet another round of stapled visas?

there's only so much GOI can do in face of childish behavior of CPC. Stupid is as stupid does after all.
btw get some math lessons while your at it, you're having trouble with sequencing events correctly.
And, we understand you need to placate your cry baby ally once in a while, no worries there since it hardly affects ground realities.

yes but what about military was it same i don't think so cause china was engaged with USA in Korea + china was fighting was with japan till 2nd world war so china had huge military edge over India
just by comparing economy how can u say that military will be same by that logic you would have never been able to push USA out of north Korea in current scenario compare north korea and south korea they are neck to neck when it comes to military but economically south korea is way ahead of north it doesnt mean that south korea can defeat north korea easily

and what was ur economy in 2001 compare that figure with indian GDP in 2011 u will come to know that india need 10 years to catchup with china and dont think in 10 any country can achieve something to defeat other country of similar size on their soil it takes more than that

Hahahahahahahahaha!!!!! Just reading this thread is making me smile today. A foolish Chinese member talking "seriously" when referencing NUCLEAR WAR??!! A paradox surely?? I don't know about China, because the issue of who really is in control and just how sane they are is extremely ambiguous, but India is a responsible power with a stated "no first use policy" BUT with a nuclear triad which screams- "no first use but our second strike is gonna hurt!". In all seriousness though if you take out insecure, war-mongering Pakistanis out of the equation then both sides are much more dedicated to their own internal issues such as combating extreme poverty (much success has been achieved by both countries and India and China look to be THE ONLY countries in the world to achieve their MDGs by 2015) and healing extreme social divides. And I think both leaderships are intelligent enough to know war is not going to have the remotest positive impact for them in a time when vote are attaining tremendous economic growth.
