For all the crap happening on daily basis in India, Times of India (Toilet News Agency) got this report/views to be published on their website within hours of Rex termination with a new man, Pompeo. Just look at their sheer insecurity and obsession towards Pakistan. Their entire thoughts and interest regarding this development is link with Pakistan that will the new secretary of state be tough on Pakistan or not infact they already have given their verdict that he will lolz.Oh Man, something which has to be debated on Pakistani media outlets, and that too in few days time,is being already posted on their media.Just imagine the level of insecurity they have towards Pakistan.

here is an article by RT news. Which didn't even mention the name of pakistan. Neither i found any news from west or U.S about tough action against pakistan.

No doubt it's india who does not wana see good relation of pakistan with anyone because india always provoke us. Lets hope U.S and Pak recent relation would be fruitful for both.

religious? you mean terrorists funded by raw. i am a religious muslim and most pakistanies are.

lol stupid us of a, but we should be ready and tough as CIA will now be calling more shots.
By religious you know what i mean, people who use religion to further their goals, people like Fazal-ur Rehman, Fazal Ullah.
And yes we are muslims which includes me but neither me nor you or any oridinary Pakistani uses religion to further their own goals.

Pompeo was head of CIA for little over a year. He was a politician before that. So I doubt he'll turn State Department over to CIA. More like he and Trump are going to be on the same page on foreign policy compared to Rex Tillerson.

And I'm sorry, but Pakistan cannot ignore US even if wanted to. Afghanistan alone makes that impossible. Pakistan has to deal with US without comprising its interests. Hard to do, but not impossible.

I dont think any country can ignore any other country. The above stands true for US as well. However its our interests versus theirs.

US stopped listening to Pakistan years ago on anything, be it Kashmir, Afghanistan, whatever. And Trump is definitely not going to listen.

Yes they did and so did we as you can see from their reaction, their demands fall on deaf ears.

that would be liars, "muslims", traitors and some idiots like fazulah so agree on that

this should have been done years ago...i cant believe that we still consider this like the 1950s and 1960s
engage openly with clear define boundaries rather this shadow back duplciity

That is not the point.

We wasted considerable amount of time with state department only to find now that its boss is fired and replaced by a rabid Pakistan hater CIA chief. Whatever work we did counts to nothing. Back to square one. Waste of time.

Pakistan can afford to ignore US if it wants to. And that, at some level has been going on for some time which is making the yanks blow their gaskit now and then. There are many players now in Afghan mess, and America is one of them.

What india is offering to U.S in the region? This is the billions dollor question. Can you kindly elaborate for me?

The answer is obvious: it's to counter China. This is the sole reason why India and US entered a strategic partnership. The state of Pakistan-US relations, such at it is, has basically been reduced to the divergence of interests; and this divergence is growing. The only common interests between Pakistan and US seem to be counter-terrorism and Afghanistan.

I don't understand "ignore" in the context of Pakistan-US relations. Nevertheless, if Pakistan wants to go its own way, it's free to do so, but it cannot ignore the US, not even the other players in the region.

The most sober view...and realistic one.

Strategic disengagement, as mentioned by Muneer Akram, would be a better phrase. As per trump tweet when we helped them free their citizens in Afghansitan, that we have started to give America "respect", as if it was not given lately.

This is the most honest answer i have got by any indian. Thanks for this.

Further more what you think how you can counter Pak-china's strategic interests ?

As far as i understand in a recent circumstances there is no option left for US-India rather then pressurizing both pak-china internationally on every platform. And if it's possible to create misunderstanding between both china and pakistan, further more try to create more hurdles to delay in the strategic projects of pak-china. etc etc

Well Dont you think this is an evil approach by US-India to counter us? Which can create more distance between us.

Now lets talk about the solution what if we move from Geo strategic to geo economics strategy. Can it help to reduce strategic tentions among neighbours china-india-pak and between strategic partners US-india and pak-china ?

Pompeo is hawkish on everyone and everything be it China, Russia, Iran, Turkey or Pakistan. I see this as a positive development. It forces the above mentioned countries to define their interests more clearly.
