I think the goal will be to create a third force from south Punjab that will join with PPPP to form a govt in case PMLN fails in central Punjab ..it plan B. Maryum knows about it and reason why she is playing good and bad cop.

People think maryum isn't good but she isn't bad either she knows the game like her father..she knows how to bribe and kill opponents or jail them. Perfect combo rana-maryum


But for plan B to work they need to figure out KP. As previously it was KP south Punjab and Sindh that handed over benazir the power ...may be they will relaunch either JI OR JUI or may be ask them to form a alliance (MMA)

What I don't get is how did Bhutto got so unpopular in North Punjab during the 1990s? Seems Zia was pretty successful in rooting it out.

Tbh, it’s already not a clean party. I remember how Mustafa Khokar punched that poor old man at the hotel. Miftah ismael is only semi competent. The others have a stench of corruption around them that actually was a liability for PTI- Tareen and Aleem Khan, so good riddance. It’s already a failed project.

The only party that I could partially see challenge PTI would be JI. But the people at the helm would have to be JI people. Not this Tareen, Aleem Khan, PMLN, PPP faces that are frankly a liability for a PTI type party.

Remember our establishment has some pornz of Jahangir Tareen... A story about house in Islamabad where lots of models and show girls stayed and Tareen found to be entered from the back side of the house.

May be but if you bring in guns then I don't think so..grab a few 1000s people kills few 100s and you won't find people to man the polling stations..hence you can change any results

If only the establishment spent this much time focusing on dividing & fighting India, it might have had some success. The only war they seem capable of winning is against their own people, the bloody civilians.

People are associated with IK's PTI because of the Hope factor, it's not some cult following, they can manage and rig elections to quite an extent, but that would be too visible with the support base on the streets and the ensuing protests.

If they can rig it big time why they are opposing the Punjab and KPK elections, can be managed by say 10-15% of the votes.

There would be huge protests and dharnas if people mandate is stolen as that would be visible.

The duffers have tried these hunger games too many times now, these budhas can't think of anything new as they are very out dated. This is not 90s so these old tricks won't work anymore.

I can see a new Pakistani patriotic party (alleged) forming with Shahid Khan Abbasi, Mifta Ismail, Ch Nisar, Javid Hasmi, Aleem Khan, Jahangir Tareen, once formed many MNAs and MPAs will leave PPP, PmlN, Pmlq, pti to join. If the new party can take 30 MNAs then it should be able to form government with PDM. Also JUI has a massive following, if fully supported by establishment they can take 20+ MNA seats.

The establishment aim is just to take some power away from PTI, then over the years they will be able to control it. Pakistanis need to understand how many PTI MNAs and MPAs will 100% stick with Pti, if danda is used many will leave.

JUI/JI alliance can take alot of seats. Fazlur Rehman is the spiritual master for millions.

It seems like the establishment hates independent political parties, so when PPP was a populist party they created IJT and used religious slogans, Maddrassas, Islam to defeat PPP, but after Benazir died then compromised was reached with Zardari. Nawaz Sharif after winning tried to declare himself Ameer ul mumineen, in another words more powerful than the president so he also started to have major disagreements with the establishment. Even during his latest tenure he had major issues with General Raheel Sharif. PDF was fully behind establishment then
