New Mosque Istanbul

Yeah what is the point not to mention many Turks don't attend religious prayers so its not like it is needed to meet current capacity or worshipers.

Actually they fill up that's why they are made.

Ok I didn't think so because earlier Turkish members were telling us masjid attendance tends to be lower in western Turkiye and they don't see many people at the masjid.

Three questions :

(1) Camlica - Is that near Fener's stadium or is it near Galas ? :D

(2) How well would you rate the following universities in an MBA or a Masters in Finance program : Sabanci, Orkun, Bilgi ! (they're all in Istanbul !)

(3) Where the hell did Lincoln get to know about the Internet ?

Its great that we are building Mosque similair to Ottoman Era but like TR-1 said i think we should build them more futuristic...

I wonder where you live, transexuals being sliced, mosques filled up ?

Mosques gots a significiant crowd only in fridays and its only some mosques, if a place has two mosques and crowd fills up them in friday, building a third one is not mean its also will be filled in the same way.

An example of prayer from "Suleymaniye"

Süleymaniye camii ak

Another one

Süleymaniye cami Ekrem Nalbant hoca Sabah Namaz

I was in Istanbul in June and the mosque attendance was quite decent in my opinion. Just like any other city in the world there were areas of the city that were "more religious" and others that were less religious. Eyup (mazar of hazrat ayub ansari) and Fatih (tomb of Sultan Fatih) generally had packed mosques, whilst Beyoglu (the more "party" area i guess) had less attendance. Finding a place for Isha namaz at Sultan Ahmet on Miraj night was crazy though!

About the Mosque, it looks very beautiful. It would be nice to see something along the lines of Faisal Mosque as well however. After all the architect of the Faisal Mosque was also Turkish.

1- None of them..But both Fener stadium (screw them :D) and Camlica Heights are in Anatolian side of Istanbul
2- Forget Orkun..Sabanci is slightly better than Bilgi University
