New Load Out On JF-17 Thunder

Completely different class of fighters, you can't reasonably replace a medium-weight attacker, with a light-weight multirole fighter. It's like replacing a Pickup truck, with a Sedan. JF-17 can't carry as much payload as the Mirage, and THAT alone makes it ill suited to replace the Mirages in their intended role in the PAF, as a dedicated attack aircraft.

Thanks for sharing, i always thought JF17 B3 can carry same tonnage of ammo as mirages.. ill informed i guess

Can't quite make it out from the picture, but is the EW pod hardpoint on the air intake cowling or on the structural component itself?
It's attached to the new hardpoint under the intake.

BTW any confirmation of Raad ALCM integration with Thunder or J-10c?

. . .
Where wd PL-15 go, if any, at inner hardpoint? I think it is for J-10 only as B3 radar is not powerful to utilise its range fully besides integration.
I'm not too knowledgeable with missile ranges and radars, but I'm sure you won't be firing PL-15s from the maximum range envelope most of the time anyway? And the radar is rumoured to have a detection range between 170-200KM+ for fighter sized targets, so surely it can still give it a massive boost using the PL-15 even if not engaging at say 200KM

one of the best I have seen

JF17 Block 3 now has the look of a front-line fighter

. .
Total 8 hard points, dual rack on the wings makes it 10 total.
I think 7

2 wingtip - PL5
4 underwing
1 chin HP for either Jammer or targeting pod.
The other side has the 23mm chin gun.
