Im wondering why this airport cannot be named after a national hero? For example,
Rashid Minhas Intl Airport (sounds pretty good to me)
Or Aziz Bhatti Intl Airport
Shabir Sharif Intl Airport
All of these dnt sound too bad and are patriotic too.
