What happened to the digital camo?? why this same old dull paint more like a tin box.
Well this is just a prototype doing trials and tests. Actual production variant will go with desired camo.
More like the other way around- the camo seen at Def Expo 2014 was to draw attention and was what TATA applied to the vehicle, the IA doesn't have any such camo in use and will likely opt for a simpler camo.
They need to improve in finishing & quality in my opinion ,compared to other APC like boxer etc this look c*** ,hope this is just a prototype on which real APC would be based on
Two Prototypes
It can give enough protection from small arms fire, hand grenades etc as it has been mentioned. Its an Armoured Personnel Carrier a bit different than a infantry fighting vehicle.
