The system sends some laser lights towards the missile head, and according to the reflections coming from there, it understands at which wavelength it is a seeker
Then it continues this reflection and creates a glare there, a glare we call the 'cat's eye effect'.
Then it begins to follow this glow. While following, a directed laser beams against the threat in a suitable modulation,

after this beam that the seeker head is paralyzed

TB-2 FOR KUWAIT


The winner of the competitive process involving American, European and Chinese companies, the national SİHA Bayraktar TB-2 will operate in the skies of Kuwait,

where it broke the record for the longest flight time by staying in the air for 27 hours and 3 minutes in desert conditions in 2019.

"A direct contract between the Kuwaiti government and the Turkish government, without intermediaries, to purchase the drone system." Kuwaiti MOD concluded its contract with the Turkish side to supply the Bayraktar TB2."
Following the signing of a contract with TB2 maker Baykar, Kuwait has joined the long list of countries that have purchased the Turkish Bayraktar TB2 Unmanned Aerial Combat Vehicle (UCAV), known across the world for its cutting-edge capabilities and roaring combat success.

Deal is worth 327 million.

NATO pushes for common standards to tackle shortfalls in artillery munitions

June 13 (Reuters) - The heads of leading arms-making companies meet NATO defence ministers this week to discuss increasing production and standardising artillery shells as the war in Ukraine depletes stocks. NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg warned in February that Kyiv was burning through shells much faster than Western countries could produce them. The start of the Ukrainian counteroffensive is certain to lead to even greater use. But the lack of common standards among the various manufacturers has hampered the flow of munitions supplies. "It is about supercharging the NATO standardization process in order to enable smoother supplies, which will help prevent delays and shortfalls in the future," a NATO official, speaking on condition of anonymity, told Reuters ahead of the meeting in Brussels on Thursday and Friday.

Those invited include BAE Systems (BAES.L), Turkish drone maker Baykar, General Dynamics (GD.N), the KNDS holding representing Leopard 2 producer KMW and French Nexter, Kongsberg (KOG.OL), Leonardo (LDOF.MI), Lockheed (LMT.N), MBDA, Mesko, Nammo <Nammo AS> and Northrop Grumman (NOC.N), according to a defence source.

NATO has been talking with industry representatives about boosting defence production since last year, but this is the first time the alliance will have held such a high-level gathering. It will take place on the sidelines of a NATO defence ministers' meeting in Brussels on Thursday and Friday...
