This is perhaps the first clear image of the new gear allocated to the SSGN. It includes, new generation Kevlar Modular Integrated Communications Helmet (MICH). Kevlar modular body armor, Colt M4 Carbine, Tactical assault rifles with night vision compatible scopes, dual targeting lasers, LED lights. Modular ammo carriage vest with night operations uniforms, knee/elbow protection, Milspec side arms i.e USP-45/Berreta 92FS/Glock-17+ and tactical gloves.

'Tactical gloves'?? What the heck are they supposed to be for? Probably for slithering down from choppers? But then why wear them in all situations? And why are they white?

Heat/fire resistant they provide better protection in harsh environments and provide better handling of firearms. You have to use them to know how good they are.

this looks awesome , is this only for naval commandos or for all army and air force commando wing ?

Ship borne operations require not just slithering from choppers, but getting off ships and boarding vessels in shaky conditions. It's not easy moving around at sea.

Those gloves seem to be for purely slithering, would doubt they wear them for all ops- they don't seem to give full dexterity.

Next item on the list should be some tactical kevlar gloves:

Will provide better grip, protection and dexterity for the guys.

+why does only one of them appear to be wearing the helmet correctly?

Bloody nice show all the same :D!!

Pakistan SOF units use these Oakley tactical gloves otherwise.

Nice and POF should do JV with EU countries in building better gears and weapons. In the current scenario PN should look towards making 11,000 SSGNs in its fleet.

Helmets look sloppy, without side panels how would they stay in the right position when a soldier is running, jumping, ducking, diving? how would they protect the side of head from shrapnel, or falls? None of the soldier has it in right position even for a photo shoot.

These guys dont "look" the part, for sure. Helmets crooked, God knows what BBQ gloves are doing on there, one seems to be regretting joining the SF. The other one seems hungry.

These helmets have had bad rep as it doesnt protect ear from shrapnel.

These are combat helmets, with ears unprotected for Ear pieces/headphones.

Mr they are not BBQ Gloves they are specially designed gloves to stand heat and other things

BBQ gloves are made to stand heat. Unless these boys holding seekhs then no use. The ergonomics will only hamper gun feel and grip.

BBQ gloves.

Just a noob question sir,are these kevler helmets or just simple paragliding helmets used by the U.S. Delta force??

because my experience tells me that they are not SSGN, they might be sailors but thats it, their demeanour doesnt reflect any special training . they are just there for the show hence the ill fitting gear and unconvincing body language. those over sized gloves look more appropriate for baking and Barbecue manoeuvres.

the guy in picture number 8 is a different story. he is as legit as one can get. everything in that still gives of elegance, control and power. a childhood friend of mine is an SSG veteran and a senior instructor so I know few things up close.
