just started watching tribes and empires. the cgi in that show is hollywood quality and the girls are hot

I stopped watching it when you realized it's very much like a Japanese drama piece. The name, some costumes resemble Japanese. Plus the story is so boring....and slow...the characters suck.

Legend of Fu Yao has better CGI and mich more interesting storyline.

China is going toward "American" styled Dramas and some SK style... While SK or even JP ones got their own "Identity"...
Ppl should understand, that many SK/JP drama lovers seek "That specific" Atmosphere...

Everyone Target an Audience... No need to say who is better since the "Drama" on itself isn't Why ppl watch them... If SK didn't build the "image" package that goes around it... Then it wouldn't be as popular... Same thing happen with Manga per exemple... Manga Stories are repetitive in their respective genre...and yet ppl read it...Because "it's the Japan Vibe/Dream they've got from it"...

And yes, there is some with very interesting stories...But they are a minority...

American can never produce Chinese drama with the elaborate set and costume, ancient architecture and the unique Chinese story and plot. How da hell would China look to American or Korean to make these drama?

Chinese historical and Wuxia genre are uniquely Chinese. American are good in Sci-Fi and GCI. Korea's mostly melodrama.

Chinese drama were popular in many Korean, Japanese and other Asian household long before Korean melodrama hit the scene, lol. Romance of Three kingdoms, Water Margin, My Fair Princess, Legend of Condor.....etc

China's CGI has improved a lot. Currently watching Fu Yao. Good storyline and the CGI is decent for a tv series. I think it's much better than Ice Fantasy

I am tired of the costume drama, comparing with that made before, now the quality of new costume are poor. Hope in Chinese cinema, there are more Chinese War Movie like War Wolf, Operation red sea, and Chinese science fiction Movie.

Should not let American to save the world only and let us(Chinese) play as bad men in the movie, Chinese also should be responsible for saving the world in the movie, and let the world know how USA overthrow the regime of Panama, split the Yugoslavia, bombed the Iraq for washing powder, train the terrorist among other countries, let people know the truth.

I have a lot of things disabled on my pc and phone, so cannot watch online.
Even though I have unlimited 4G on my phone.
Still prefer to download and watch especially while waiting around for hospital checkups which I do a lot.
Or play it on my big TV.
I know a bit of how hacking and virus works, so I am paranoid about my phone or pc getting corrupted.
My phone very basic only, most apps that says connect to internet is a no no.
Will watch Wolf Warrior 2 at my Monday medical appt.
