Why buy a $1300-1500 ticket, gifts for family, and get disrespected by embassy officials when applying for a visa to come to Pakistan.

On top of that get cold stares from family on types of gifts you gave them.

When you can get a visa free entry to Europe, and buy a $1000 ticket?

This applies to the children of Pakistani Immigrants. Not many have strong connections to continue visiting.

Lack of basic knowledge of Pakistani immigration / visa procedures, proves you are no way linked to Pakistan.

Would you like me to buy a GoPro and videotape the interaction with Pakistani Embassy Consular Employees in attempting to get a Pakistani Visit Visa?

If you had a Pakistani Passport you can get a visit visa good for 5 years, other wise the visa is only good for 6 months.

I know about the NADRA/ OverSeas Pakistani Cards , good for 5/10/15 years, depending on your age, and how your above the age of 65 they don't expire.

But enough about me.

1. Perhaps you can clarify how professional the Pakistani Embassy staff usually is?
2. Since we're on that subject matter, how many trade events the economic sections plan in the host nation?
3. Compare the Education department with any other embassy.

I went to Istanbul for a semester abroad. US Consulate Officials required all American Students to report their address, university name, cell, numbers to call in case of emergency, they even organized a cultural introduction on what to do and not, etc etc etc.

My cousin is here in the US sent by the HEC for practical laboratory work for her PhD. Nothing from the Pakistani Embassy or officials.

Lets not pretend the foreign ministry is high and mighty working diligently in all presenting the best of Pakistan or doing what is required from an Embassy.

I unfortunately have been the the Pak Embassy in DC 3 times. I know the process, and what is stated on the policy and what actually happens. The fact of the matter is the Embassy is neither Professional or Competent.

Bhai, one's blood gets boiled after hearing them. What was the point of talking this non-sense to kids? Basically he is telling them to accept corruption as the norm. Can you believe it? Everyone of us have done something wrong during our life time but we do not tell our children to accept the wrongdoings as norms. After hearing them, I feel like killing them on the spot for such criminals must never be allowed to govern us.

As much as I agree with you, and so will plenty of other sane members, point is "why are we getting corrupt leaders, each successive lot, more corrupt then the last one?"
