The Palestinians have tried peace as well as armed resistance. The latter is far more effective.

In 2006, Hezbollah thwarted Israel's occupation. Not through negotiations, but through guerrilla and asymmetrical warfare.

In 2007, Hamas got rid of all settlements across Gaza. This is something the peaceful PA has never and will never be able to do, unless they too use violence like Hamas did.

In 1972, Egypt only got back the Sinai because it proved just how much damage it could do to Israel. Negotiations alone would have never worked.

Lies. Israel disengaged from Gaza on it's own in 2004-2005 as part of gesture to Palestinian terrorists. Obviously appeasement to terrorists never work.
