LeT's look where India sits relative to other "partly free" nations in terms of aid receipt (2017 data so it may be outdated but I'm happy to see a more updated version):

You're all over the place clutching at straws. No shit sherlock, I'm not talking about how covid expands but how we can vaccinate without, waiting for countries to supply us vaccines. Even many "first world" countries are finding it hard to get supplies and are sourcing from India. I know your issues. I don't need to chant Jai Modi when for example see what the Prime Minister of Barbados said.

I'm happy to be corrected if the data is wrong but it seems to me that India holds out the same generic begging bowl as other partly free countries, hoping that truly free countries will come to help. Japan is your biggest donor, strangely, but because they're such a humble bunch, they never make a song and dance over it. Anyway, carry on ignoring India's problems. That is perhaps why so many farmers are angry right about now.

A lot of these funds are not government aids but they are to run organizations that do Non Governmental works in communities.

At least we are not tinpot dictatorships. I can take a partly free country, not hybrid regimes at least. Again, I have to point, we still don't need to wait for any country, Japan, or US to give us vaccine so that we can vaccinate our masses. At least we are not tinpot dictatorships. I can take a partly free country, not hybrid regimes at least. Again, I have to point, we still don't need to wait for any country, Japan, or US to give us vaccine so that we can vaccinate our masses. Our discussion is not about who needs to seek permission off whom for "vaccinating masses". I pointed out that both the Nepalese pm (who you will note is the original subject of this thread) and the Dalai Lama have recently opted for Covishield over Covaxin. There are subtle reasons behind that but you have taken the discussion into the realms of what nations supposedly beg for what etc, not me. Every time you derail a thread, you will find more than me happy to respond.

I will give you an example. How often you see any Indian general be talked about in the political discourse? You can latch on to "partly - free" as long as you like, did it change something for us? Maybe, maybe not. Again, that's not the discussion here, is it?

Good for them. Whatever subtle BS you found out about Covaxin being not taken by Nepali PM (we didn't send covaxin in the first place) Modi took Covaxin for himself followed by his Cabinet Dalai Lama - Nepal PM .... Nah, Indian PM holds more power than those two.
