a vaccine takes many many many years to make and the fact that they have made a vaccine overnight will NOT be effective if you know the nature of the virus! we are being told that a new mutated strain has been detected! so there will be vaccines for eternity? NO there cant be vaccines for eternity. this virus will become inept upon its own life cycle and it will pass on in due time.

But this mass vaccination drive has NO bearing on the virus itself! so its a pointless exercise playing with people's lives.

Right...this is the only vaccine that got made in record time...less than a year...unprecedented.

all vaccines need years worth of trials because virus is a mutating organism or life or alien! so I wouldn't be surprised if more people fall ill who would not have contracted covid in the first place.

The most vulnerable, that have known preconditions that prevent them from getting the vaccine should jot be given the vaccine. To protect them we need to achieve herd immunity, through vaccinating the potentially asymptotic carriers, and other that are at high risk but have lower risk to side effects. There is always a risk of side effects with vaccines, that is what a well defined clinical study is suppose to determine.

Yep the Pfizer vaccine has had quite a few incidents linked to it, too many for comfort.

Since the UK has the Oxford vaccine I am wondering why they are risking it still with the Pfizer vaccine as the tech is too new.

Fair enough 1 million people in the UK got the Pfizer vaccine before the Oxford one got approved, but if you have now have access to a vaccine based on traditional and known tech, then time to stop taking any more chances with the new vaccine.

While the Pfizer vaccine has side effects and there is no long term safety data on the mRNA tech, millions of jabs have been administered so far and there has not been too high multiple numbers of alarming incidents of severe side effects and deaths yet.

If the Chinese vaccine is at the same level as the Oxford one that is based on the same inactivated vaccine tech, then expect 70-80% reduction in infections and maybe 100% reduction in severe disease and deaths.

Rich countries such as UAE and Bahrain have approved the Chinese vaccine and they would never take a chance on a substandard vaccine.

MRNA tech like in Pfizer vaccine is very interesting as in theory it should have zero long term side effects.

Now that more traditional vaccines like the UK/Chinese ones are available, I would stop injecting any more people with mRNA vaccines as it is just too risky. The millions that have already been given them will give us long-term safety data on this tech.
