I'm a Karachiite. PTI clean sweeped from here in 2013 and 2018, both times. This city never witnessed such huge voter turnout, there were long lines of women, youth and elderly came to vote Imran Khan. Even in NA-243 By-election, PTI candidate Alamgir Khan (from FIXIT) clean defeated opposition by 17,000 votes margin.

2018 General Elections, majority was stolen from PTI using RTS system strategic malfunctioning & delayed results. Otherwise PTI would have secured 200+ seats in GE.

On elections day 25 July 2018, after voting time ended, at night, fake votes, rigging videos started appearing on social media, genuine PTI votes were discarded, ballot boxes thrown away in Lyari river.

What will PTI do differently this time. The reality is they cannot do much unless the people of Pakistan decide enough is enough and throw the corrupt political, electrol and governmental system in to the dustbin. The people in power need to know that Pakistani awaam has changed and they need to move on with the times otherwise their will be consequences. Another reality is majority of the awaam has still not changed, yes millions of middle class have changed but not the majority and this is what the establishment and PDM are banking on, its unfortunate but the people of Pakistan are still not educated enough to understand about the reforms in EC, governmental system, accountability, imports and exports, economy, reforms in judiciary, police, health etc. We may have elections in 2022 but rigging will take place again and those in power will not allow a reformist party like Pti to come in to power unless they comprise on those issues which the establishment is not happy about (Foreign policy, Internal policy, international relations, reforms, accountability)

In AJK where I am from, PTI did very well but alot of electables and corrupt are part of PTI, the day IK orders action against corruption, against land mafia, makes reforms, improves law and order, that day PTI government will collapse, but still 1000s of young people are part of Pti who want a change, this is the only positivity.

I'll trust the awaam when from 230M, only 5M come out on the streets to protest for reforms and free and fair elections. Karachi people are educated, you cannot compare to the rest of Pakistan. In AJK alot of youth supported IK but still the mafias are ruling, the judges, police, government officers are all from the mafia families, a normal educated person cannot reach that level because you need political backing to reach the height.

In Pakistan the army is very powerful and educated, we have 2M armed forces, active, reserves and rangers, if you include their families (5 members), friends (10 members) and connections (15 members) it will give you 60M strong force. They have business empires worth 60B+, foreign assets, connections. We cannot deny their reality.
Even 30M strong force is very powerful. It would be different if army is apolitical.
