After WFH for over 8 months, with my assh*le boss kept insisting that we should go back to office all the time without any apparent reasons, we finally went back to office in November. We were sitting in separate rooms, always used face masks and sanitizers, kept the distance etc.

3 days ago, my Boss decided to travel back to Pakistan, thus got tested for Covid and was identified as positive. That's when we were called in, and by the time my appointment came - i was already feeling fever and body pain. Everyone in office, including me, are covid positive. We most likely got it through kitchen or washroom.

Anyways, today my entire family got tested positive including my 72 years old heart patient dad, my 2 years old kid and my wife who is 3 months pregnant.

Please pray for us all and speedy recovery.

Bro I know how u feel. I am currently in shifa international. My brother also got tested positive for covid back in Dec. Covid is not a joke.

But some say, even the otherwise sensible Elon Musk, that COVID is all lies and actually some conspiracy.

Everyone at home, including me are recovering Alhamdulillah and are showing very less symptoms now compared to early days. Dad is still at hospital but I talk daily with him over phone several times during the day, he also seems to be well and is recovering.

I have another covid test on 12th Feb, Insha Allah it will be negative this time.

Bro it isn't a joke or conspiracy. This is very real and those claiming it to be something else are lying, people are dying and to be honest people spreading these sort of theories are animals. Make sure you all get tested for Vitamin D. 50ng/ml is minimum level to fend off this virus without serious illness.

Your dad should have had the jab by now. If not you need to ask why not. My dad 84, my mum 80 both got theirs in early January. I and my wife got ours two weeks and are 58/57 years respectively. This week my daughter and son at 21/23 have got a jab consequent to them working in critical roles within HMRC and DfE. I fact my parents are soon going to recieve their second dose.

All of us got the Pfizer except for my kids who got OxfordAstrazenaca. I had slight swelling in my arm and temperature for day but I was good to go next day. I can't wait for my second jab which should kick the protection levels to 90% plus as early reports from Israel suggest.

Anyway I wish you the best.

Ps. Every person in my circle above 55 have got a jab. In fact local NHS is now moving to 18-55 vulnerable group.

Get them Vitamin D and Zinc, they're the basis of your immune system. Also get them Dexamethasone, it's a sort of steroid that reduces inflammation and reduces severe immune response against your lungs. Of course ask a doctor before that. My grandparents got tested positive right before the vaccines got into our country, my grandfather is also a heart patient. Thankfully they got out of it pretty well.

Hopefully your family will be fine.

I think in India more than 700 frontline medical personnel have died of COVID.

Yes, still sometimes feel some after effects of covid like mild chest pain or heavy breathing, noticed significant drop in stamina like i start breathing heavily after running the stairs which wasn't the case before. But doctor say all of this is normal and will go away in few weeks or months.

Other than that, everything's back to normal now.

Question: I used to do about an hour of cardio exercise as well as some weight lifting before I got covid. Shall I start doing it again or wait till I fully recover?

With the kind of weakness and loss of stamina that I am experiencing, I somehow have a feeling that its not good to start exercise and weight lifting for now. What's your take on it?
