It's a welcome development that even a protege of Zia ul Haq now disowns Zia. Why should people not change as they learn new things? Back in 1977, many many politicians wanted Bhutto out and even executed. Heck, one of the most honorable politicians of Pakistan Mr. Asghar Khan also publicly said he wanted Bhutto hanged off some bridge--but he and many others regretted what happened in 1977 and especially Bhutto's hanging. In the same vein, didn't M.A. Jinnah changed his radically positions between 1906 and 1947?
