LAHORE: Tehreek-e-Insaf Chief Imran Khan Thursday said that Pakistan Muslim League-N Chief Nawaz Sharif and President Asif Zardari were faking a war and that if Nawaz Sharif was really sincere to the country he should first declare his own assets and then point his finger at Asif Zardari.

Addressing a press conference in connection with the launching of “Hukumat Hatao Pakistan Bachao” (set aside government and save Pakistan) campaign from June 25 in Lahore.

He said details of Asif Zardari’s assets were available at the website of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) but had recently been removed.

Imran Khan demanded of Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari to declare their ‘secret’ assets inside and outside the country and to pay tax.

He said the way in which the Supreme Court had scrapped 3.7 million fake votes, it should also take action to have an (independent) election commission formed.

To a question, he described the step taken by Marive Memon as laudable.

He said a good news will be given to the nation in a few days.

The TI Chief expressed willingness to act as an intermediary to hammer out an understanding between the Taliban and government. The government should abandon the war for which there is no end in sight, he added

Classic politics. It's okay. Just don't burn any bridges in rhetoric.
Even Zardari--normally, very careful in using words, once got carried away and called the PMLQ as 'Qatil League' after BB assassination. But now they say that the 'Qatil' label was for those under Musharraf.
I think Zardari is the finest of all Pakistani politicians when it comes to the art of 'politics'. Brilliant mind. Very thick-skinned. Too bad he is from a minority province.
