People are same but fundamentals of politics have changed in last 67 years in both countries due to different approach.
Our people are linguistically, ethnically and culturally different from indians. And as we know political approach are based on nature of peoples of a particular country and since we have different political approaches because of different nature and thinking of our peoples, thus we can conclude that we are indeed different from you guys

a sindhi is a lot different to a pakhtun. a bihari has nothing common to malbari.
ppl of india or pakistan dont share same culture between them.forget about india and pakistan being same

An article of Dr. Iqtidar Cheema orginally Published by ARY News on 16/12/2014
ARY News has recently aired one of the most controversial public statement of the Prime Minister of Pakistan. Mr Sharif has said in his statement that ‘ It’s the border which appeared between India and Pakistan, otherwise the people have a common heritage of culture, that even their language and eating habits are same and common.’

Article on ARY....need I say more??? Next, marketing journalism? The guy who publishes it, is posting it on here. WHAT???? Not one EVEN person who was impressed with it that they posted it themselves (outside of the writer having to do it for cheap fame)???

Next, I think everyone agrees with the fact that the line is what separates the two nations. I don't think he mentioned the "line" (meaning religious factor that caused the separation) should be REMOVED. Knowing a business man and someone who wants to grow a country's economy, its the right thing to say. Its not saying "let's merge the two nations together", which is the impression the smart (not), journalist is trying to make.
The point is, there are WAY too many things in common (including the religion as India has more Muslism than Pakistan does), that two nations can work like a European Union and benefit from trade and better ties. That will slowly reduce the cross border terrorism into each others territory and will bring about peace.

What's wrong with the idea of having peace and trade between hundreds of millions of people so eventually, the animosity and the fight can go away slowly? By the way, I've heard this from many Indian businessmen too, that the line exists but the trade should make it a line with open trade and 0 hostility so the region can progress and people can access markets from Pakistan, India to China, Russia and Europe through the road and railways.
