Damn....

Everyone sells to Egypt because despite their strategic location they are utterly incompetent. Sell weapons to Turkey and they'll be put to good use. Sell weapons to Egypt and those weapons will just add to Egypt's Globalfirepower score so Egyptian military fans can have a wank to it... but in a real conflict no amount of hardware will save them.

. .
Their recent acquisitions do not make any sense. :cheesy:

-Mig29Ms
-Rafale
-SU35

and now probably Eurofighters.... add to that the Mirage Vs and 2000s in service + the hundreds of F16s. :partay:

What a logistical nightmare...
The logical step would be another 24 Rafales. They'll be buying 24 Grippens to...you just watch

Modern Arab armies are used to kill and keep their own people in check.

Not to fight wars or protect interests or to protect the homeland.

If any of the Arabs rise up against their own government their ak47s stand no chance against an army that has outgunned them in every way possible.

As Turks we have nothing to fear from Arab armies. Still does not mean I will underestimate our neighbourhood.

Modern day arab armies buy the best equipment to hide their incompetence but also as a way for rulers to show they have power backed by their military. Its also to send a message to their army not to rebel and do a coup.
