There is no Comparison Numerically but we have the edge, Remember when PAF pilots Flew ARAB jets and Downed Israeli Jets without loosing a single Jet.

Here is what Israeli president has to say about NUR KHAN Ex chief of PAF.

Well, I'm not an Israeli, I'm an American, but I would think Israel is cautious of anyone they consider is hostile to them.

You could interpret it like this..."Israel is as cautious as you are to them".

To fully understand this, you need to understand the situation. US-Israel relations is like mother-child relations. You mess with the child, you mess with the mother.

The threat Iran poses to Israel is not because USA says so, it is what comes out of Ahmadinejad's mouth and the actions it takes. The international community hears this...sees this. So they rally behind the US and Israel.

If Iran and Ahmadinejad don't shoot their mouth so often, maybe the situation wouldn't be this bad.

Besides, I would believe this is a Israeli-Palestinian matter, nothing to do with Iran, yet they talk like their own people are in the equation.

The Falcon is indeed a good bird I can see it being the work horse of many air forces around the world for many years to come. Not to put you down or anything but if we are only comparing fighters, then Israel will soon have the Lightning II and Pakistan's most advanced fighter could be the FC-20 if that comes to fruition.

So the IAF is still better than the PAF.

well dude,IAF is better than PAF in terms of advance fighters,i agree...but remember our pilots are as professional as of IAF or maybe better than IAF pilots...And there is still a long way to go for israel to put its hand on f-35 as it is still in testing phase, US itself is yet to induct it in its airforce(correct me if i m wrong)......
BTW..PAF is aware of the happenings around the world....so by the time IAF get f-35,maybe PAF with collaboration of china get fifth generation fighter.i.e jxx

I don't doubt the abilities of pilots of both forces and I only mentioned the Lightning II because you brought up the FC-20. It's only natural to compare projections with projections.

Either way, I still think the Lightning II is superior than the FC-20 since the Chinese are decades behind us in terms of aviation technology.

True that PAF will have awareness, but this would apply to Israel and the world too. As the world air forces modernize, so will the IAF. IAF will not stay idle as PAF or other Air Forces progresses.

PAF collaboration in J-XX is a possibility, but until it is confirmed I would not count that in as just yet.

But if we look at the IAF, we could confirm many things. Lightning II is confirmed and Israel would have access to American hardware and technology for future purchases and/or future R&D of future military hardware.

This luxury, Pakistan does not have with the Chinese.

I don't deny that Israel tries to get US to do their dirty work, but this is normally done by AIPAC and it influences on the administration.

You can be sure that Israel is trying to get us to attack Iran for them.

Well why beacuse of Iranain missiles Israel will not abandon its nuclear program that too when it is believed to be producing at least 7-8 atomic bombs per year.

The Iranian missiles are not that stage to hit Israel or harm it as only range is not all you need to do that. Rather warheads are more important which Iran doesn not have and can not have before atleast 15 years.

you are not hitting the right spot. Israel is not responding to Iran's missile programme, it is the other way round. In other words, Iran is responding to the Israeli nuclear threat. Israel acquired the nukes long before Iran started its missile programme. Iran has more reason to fear the nukes of a terrorist state like Israel.
