Do you think anyone from Swat still thinks that way?
Swat is not FATA and relatively urbanized, tourism culture existed there for decades and exposure to various cultures of tourists. However still IDPs don't look back at the military operations with any fondness either. Moreover IDPs from Swat had the option of leaving Swat for a while and then come back. FATA residents don't have a life out of FATA and are left to die in collateral damage.
The Islamic debate has taken a backseat and as Musharraf pointed out many years ago, you've made this now into a peoples movement.
Forget Swat, compare South Waziristan, Pak Army kicked them out of there too, but the region is still rife with terrorism, because they didn't affect the ideology of terrorism. Swat was a modern city, it was already sold to the modern way of life, FATA is not.

No there job was to eleminate taliban and al qaida from afg, in which they have failed badly
That too only till another incident happens. The people are too busy fighting Pakistan to attack the US, once the US leaves, they move back to Afghanistan, they might plan something new too.
