NATO gunship helicopters violate Pakistan’s airspace again

TORKHAM: North Atlantic Treaty Organization’s (NATO) five gunship helicopters have violated Pakistan’s airspace at Torkham border, local media reported on Wednesday.


According to reports, NATO helicopters remained in Pakistan airspace for more than 10 minutes.

The presence of the helicopters made people terrified and left them in panic.

This is not the first time that NATO helicopters violated Pakistan airspace. NATO helicopters in 2011 entered Pakistan airspace all the way through Abbottabad and killed most wanted person in the world Osama Bin Laden.

2 days back in afghanistan, militants over ran an afghan army convoy , NATO ( read US ) has always blamed Pakistan for things not going its way in Afghanistan , their helicopters coming into our airspace is display of impotent rage , they have failed in afghanistan and they want to harass Pakistan for their failure.

Anyhow , should there be another incident like Salala , we will shut down their supplies for good, for now its wait and watch

Why do you not shut down their supplies route now???? They have breached your sovereignty and they ought to be taught a lesson.

Isn't Torkham one of the main routes for supplies being shipped OUT of Afghanistan? Are they just escorting the convoys coming out of Afghanistan vs some search and destroy mission?

Wouldn't there be a heavy Pakistani military presence at the border anyway (to keep militants out)? So this wouldn't be much of a threat that couldn't be handled.
