QUETTA: Nato helicopters violated Pakistan’s airspace near the Pak-Afghan border in Chaman on Tuesday morning.

“Two Nato helicopters crossed 200 yards into our territory and went back after a moment,” an officer said.

The helicopters were seen over Killi Luqman area, he said. He also said that Nato officials deployed in Afghanistan were informed and a protest was lodged against the violation.—Saleem Shahid

It's 200 yards man. I would be more interested in knowing how did they measure 200 yards...like the method, etc. Because fast moving crafts with even modern GPS can mistake in distance calculations.


Anyway, they went back, rules of engagement prevail.

i think some warning fire would bring some sense to them..

it also points to some thing nato is not innocent, they r trying to spy in our land, and promoting some harmful activity, its also shows for allies its not not just wot alone, it concerns harming pakistan's personal interests

At the end of the day US, Nato and their mama will loose the Afghan War without Pakistan's support. Shooting themselves in the foot is something hurting them. Terrorists are being trained in Bargram Air Base and Bugti is taking refuge in Kabul are all lies of the US and NATO.

May be it will be the opposite. We stop their supplies for 100 days instead of 10 and shoot a few more of their birds. Just like the Pakistan Army clashed with US and Nato for 19 hours in 2007 on the South Waziriztan border. It is easier said than done.

Well they do not have reason to attack Pakistan. The day they want they can do it with ease. Pakistan neither has enough weapons nor money to survive beyond 10 days. You might have good variety of weapons but what is the quantity, I heard you finished LGB by bombing Taliban alone? Plus if they do attack it will be their choice how the war will unfold. They can choose to open new fronts. Pakistan will be just defending. China will just try to stop the war that's it.
