N-capable sub-launched missile operationalised, India in select triad club

Yup!! you are right. you know better than every other person in Indian defense.
Sir G sir G an indian youtuber had claimed this not me. Now he is also saying what is stated in this report

700 Km is too less for SLBM in order to you need to come close to mainland or you have to choose very limited targets ..... the SLBM should be an ICBM other wise it will expose the location of submarine ...... the real thing will be K4 K15 is more or less a TD
Well against Pakistan, K-15 pretty much does the job. Its better than Pakistan's intended submersible second strike capability.

Making its mark as a military superpower in the Southeast Asia region, India has finally operationalised its first home-grown nuclear capable Submarine Launched Ballistic Missile (SLBM), after nearly two decades of its development. This makes India the sixth in the world to have a credible triad of nuclear-enabled missiles that can be fired from land, air and undersea.

Kept under wraps for years and inducted in the Navy a couple of months ago, the SLBM, code-named ‘B-05’, was secretly test-fired back-to-back from indigenously-built nuclear-powered submarine INS Arihant off the Vizag coast on August 11 and 12. An official associated with the mission on Sunday told TNIE three rounds of the world-class missile were tested during the first-phase user trial and it was a roaring success. Two tests were conducted on August 11, and one was done the next day.

All three missiles were fired from the submarine, nearly 20-m deep in the sea, about 10-km off the Vizag coast. It perfectly followed the pre-designated trajectory before zeroing in on the target with high accuracy, reaching close to zero circular error probability,” the official confirmed over the phone from New Delhi.

Hi @The Deterrent
In my view, K-15 should have been operationalized by 2012-2013 itself. K-15 might be sufficient for Pakistan however it doesnt change any nuclear dynamics between India and China. The role of arihant and her sister boats is to sit tight in Bay and bengal/ IOR and be able to target both her adversaries. This was one of the reasons why she was launched on the eastern sea board of India. Not a lot of people know that back in mid/late 80s when nuclear submarine program was conceived, it was planned to construct SSNs and not SSBNs that too on the western sea board-- cochin or karwar naval bases. So in order to effectively target both the adversaries, navy needs K-4 ASAP. K-4 missile system will allow the ship to prowl in bay of bengal- which by the way happens to have larger average depth vis-a-vis shallow waters of arabian sea. Now Since, it has been officially confirmed that Agni series will most likely be capped at A-5/A-6, ASL/DRDL can devote most of their human resource to the development of K-5 and K-6 missile systems. In fact the static firing of K-5 motor has already been carried out.
As for Pakistan, I believe they are making do with whatever technological resources they can muster from China. The cruise missile approach to a triad shows their limitations. Now my problem is not with CMs per se, it is the boat that will house PN's nuclear tipped CMs that is of concern here. We do not know the acoustic signature of this particular class of Chinese sub, however what is known is fact that they can not remain submerged for more than 14 days(thanks to their AIP). This can be problem considering the fact that IN is investing heavily in anti sub warfare, right from aquiring more P-8s to Kamortas.
