Kadam kadam Badhaye ja song lyrics | Qadam Qadam Badaye Ja Lyrics

kadam kadam badhaye ja or Qadam Qadam Badhaye Ja was the regimental quick march of the Subhas Chandra Bose's Indian National Army. Composed by Ram Singh Thakur, the song has since became a patriotic song in India, and is also currently the regimental quick march of the Indian Army.
Here is song lyrics and also the English translation which is approx.

Song Lyrics -
kadam kadam badhaye ja, khushi ke geet gaye ja
ye zindgi hain kaum ki, tu kaum pe lutaye ja
kadam kadam badhaye ja
kadam kadam badhaye ja, khushi ke geet gaye ja
ye zindgi hain kaum ki, tu kaum pe lutaye ja
kadam kadam badhaye ja

tu sher-e-hind aage badh, marne se phir bhi tu na darr
udake dushmano ka sir, josh-e-watan badhaye ja
tu sher-e-hind aage badh, marne se phir bhi tu na darr
udake dushmano ka sir, josh-e-watan badhaye ja
kadam kadam badhaye ja, khushi ke geet gaye ja
ye zindgi hain kaum ki, tu kaum pe lutaye ja
kadam kadam badhaye ja

teri himmat badti rahe, khuda teri sunta rahe
teri himmat badti rahe, khuda teri sunta rahe
jo samne tere ade, tu khak me milaye ja
jo samne tere ade, tu khak me milaye ja
kadam kadam badhaye ja, khushi ke geet gaye ja
ye zindgi hain kaum ki, tu kaum pe lutaye ja
kadam kadam badhaye ja

chalo dilli pukar ke kaumi-nisha sambhal ke
chalo dilli pukar ke kaumi-nisha sambhal ke
lal kile pe gaad ke, lehraye ja, lehraye ja
lal kile pe gaad ke, lehraye ja, lehraye ja
kadam kadam badhaye ja, khushi ke geet gaye ja
ye zindgi hain kaum ki, tu kaum pe lutaye ja
kadam kadam badhaye ja, khushi ke geet gaye ja
ye zindgi hain kaum ki, tu kaum pe lutaye ja
kadam kadam badhaye ja

English Translation of Kadam kadam Badhaye ja:

Keep stepping forward
Sing songs of happiness as you go
This life belongs to our motherland
Lay it down for her a hundredfold

You are the Tiger of India
Do not fear death
Blow away the enemy's head
Raise the spirits of your comrades

Take all your steps forward
Sing songs of happiness as you go
Your life belongs to the motherland
Lay it down for her a hundredfold

Your courage is your strength
The Lord listens to you
As for he who stands in your way
Turn him into dust and stamp him into the ground

Take all your steps forward
Sing songs of happiness as you go
This life belongs to motherland
Lay it down for her a hundredfold

"For Delhi" you scream
Hold your banner high
Plant it on the Red Fort
And let it fly eternally

Take all your steps forward
Sing songs of happiness as you go
This life belongs to motherland
Lay it down for her a hundredfold

why put so effort... u could have shared it.....

Well bro the song doesn't belong to India logically. It was a marching song of Indian National Army Troops.
India barred every INA veteran joining India from induction into it's Government services let alone Army, while in Pakistan they joined Army at same ranks.
And now you guys feeling proud of something taken from people you refused to accept.
Amazing!!!

The song was composed by Indian from modern day India, what Pak has to do with it ?

Netaji Subhash is a National Hero of India and several other veterans including Pakistanis like Shah Nawaz khan served as Union minister.

Do you even have a Road named after Subhash in Pak ?

My bro you may be talking to a grandson of prominent INA muslim veteran. The Song was composed of Indians of united india that included Pak and India many of whom later joined Pakistan aswell, not the indians of present india. many People who marched on this song held high positions in Pakistani military but none in the Indian Army that claims this song.
Do i need to remind you about the agreement Nehru had with Mountbatten regarding disclosure of everything for INA while Jinnah refused to agree on any such agreement. If i ain't talking logic, i'd love to be corrected

My dear Sir, i am talking about the writer of the song - Pandit Vanshidhar.

I am not disputing the role of Pakistani soldiers in INA.
