Mustafa Jabbar: Bangladesh will lead the 4th industrial revolution

As long as this lier and monster is minister, Bangladesh has little hope in this sector.
But yes if he stop selling f.ucking garbage like bijoy keyboard, then Bangladesh has a better chance in it sector.
So my suggestion is forcibly stop bijoy keyboard , and Bangladesh will be on right track.

This f.ucking software does not let us writing our own language without breaking the keyboard of pc.
On the other hand he tried to take (il)legal action against bijoy.
That time Bangladesh saw and online tornado against this blood sucker vampire mustafa Jabbar.
So ban bijoy ( Jabbar software) from Bangladesh, Bangladesh will do much better .
I truly despise him, because without avro keyboard I would never be able to type Bangla, and this greedy businessman wanted to ban avro because of his so called copy right agenda , as Bengali language is the property of his father that he will only do business with Bengali writing software, will force peoples use bijoy the garbage ( so that most of then can never write Bengali, and those who can write, can break keyboard by wasting their time) .
And such man became minister. Prime minister shout seriously reconsider this issue, I propose Mehedi ( who made avro for common peoples ) or other talented man as the ICT minister instead of mustafa Jabbar kagu , so atleast we can be creative.

Kick out this retarded Jabbar kagu , so that Bangladesh can have slight hope in ICT sector.
PS: Here is a parody in sachalayatan ( written in 2010) . Interested peoples can read this. Kagu will develop ICT sector like this.
আন্ডামারার যদু-কাগু (১০০% কপিরাইটেড রূপকথা).

Hmm I see what you mean now (we have a similar debate with Tamil99 vs inscript...but really it just comes to preference in the end):

@Joe Shearer comments?
@Nilgiri,
Another information, even very awami league fans here use avro keyboard in their life. And case is not about debate.
But the case about the poor old sod ( who became minister now) is totally different.
He became ICT minister, while his subject background is even not science . He started his career as journalist.
He had been very close to AL and created the garbage bijoy and that's the reason he became ICT minister. So no input method can be compared if this case is bbijoy. In former govt eras Bangladesh was a total backdated in technology . As everywhere were gprs mobile Internet and broadband ( 512 kbps was considered a great speed that time and that time speed gap with India was extreme, probably you understand that ) was limited to big cities only. (I admire this AL govt for few reasons that they dramatically increase electricity and Internet speed).
However as a minister he may not impose his bijoy, but for his bijoy and his narcissist attitude related to this garbage no one like him .

Here is short information abiut him.

Yes its political shenanigans/favouritism as usual, coming at cost of market based popular mandate (i.e which one do people on ground actually prefer). Quite stupid...at least co-legislate/certify and let people have option to choose etc.

In Tamil case, TN govt released Tamil99 as an alternative that is faster typing than inscript (which is used for nearly all Indian scripts incl Bengali as federally certified by central govt I believe)....basically Tamil99 keeps the most common used tamil characters in better spots in keyboard (so you can get really fast at it quicker)...but inscript is pretty good if you got used to it too....and quite more standardised and logic-based imo (esp good if you learning Tamil esp and know another Indian script already etc..)

There was another one that Singapore govt released I remember for Tamil in the late 90s too, but I forgot the name....that was the one I have some experience with...but it was not that great....and I never got much into Tamil writing to start with (probably a bigger issue tbh).

Another thing I forgot to add ,and that is you have posted input system? And you saw the layout right?
Trust me with bijoy you even can't use the layout (that is fixed) , just you need a mess. Actually I can't explain that .
You can thank Tamil govt for this ( Tamil language friendly keyboard) , but our govt ( who always has been always illiterate in nature; this time they are reply by highly qualified peoples though ) never patroned the avro keyboard, but wanted to cause trouble.
It's peoples who rejected this keyboard and as far I know lots of peoples even used offensive words against mustafa Jabbar ( online article, his page and via inbox) so terriblly that he burst into tears in a press conference.

Finally he withdraw the case against Mehedi ( who create avro) .
This pervert even tried to ban this necessary avro but after public reaction he remained silent.

A govt can give suggested one/official one (like say with Tamil99)...but in the end it should be left to the people to choose...and this should always be opensource rather than patented (because simply whats the point, you cant enforce patent on this kind of stuff, just create drama)

After all even better ones could come in future after all, no way a govt can be quick enough to adapt to the changes/testing/results on ground.

Very silly that such guy is minister in your govt now...one that sues for input of language lol. Glad it got settled ok in the end...but still that attitude says a lot like you said. So if everything in ICT sector is kept in such attitude for BD, you are right there wont be enough scope for even the simple innovation (that needs flexibility and common sense) that the industry thrives on day to day. Already things that were talk of the town last year (and billions made on it) are yesterdays news already today...so you cannot have control-freak ministers like that in this sector for sure (as the policy of too much intervention starts from the top in our region all too much I have seen). BD hopefully addresses this....people should be chosen on merit only for such important things.

Yes well said, and hopefully our system is unitary system and also our ministers are totally under control of our prime minister ( it's true for BNP regime too) and ministers can not move a single muscle if pm control them .
Since all politicians actually revolve around party leader, so our PM always enjoy even more powerful position than an executive president.
But surely still I do not want to see this person( whom I dislike because of his past heinous attitude) as ICT minister! This ministry should be under a better person, because we have a better future in this sector . So a trusted and worthy hand is more acceptable.

this is when i know his words mean nothing. you teach coding to children in secondary education aka highschool.

C programming is technically mandatory at college level, thanks to the subject called ICT (which all students must take) but there is a severe lack of trained teachers in colleges so we didn't learn anything worthwhile. The teachers are only interested in passing the students, nothing more nothing less.

EDIT: Also the fact that probably 70-80% of the students don't even own a computer is another redflag. So self teaching is out of the question.

Just need a basic computer lab if students dont own computers. Heck can just put in 90s era beige boxes (they basically are free now, just need room to put them in), gets the job done by far for C learning.

4th industrial revolution is inevitable and its happening as we type in the keyboard. He should focus more on basics instead of buzz word. And certainly BD will not lead rather it should try to catch up.
The 1st industrial revolution was probably accompanied with the steam engine and among many others the introduction of electricity. So, Mr. @TopCat could you please tell us when our Golden Bangladesh will introduce its own steam locomotive to run a train?

I can see here many of these made in Japan steam locomotives standing at parks for the young kids to see and appreciate the achievements of their forefathers. How about you and again how about those of your descendants can they take pride of this achievement made by your generation?

The country has become rotten filth without any real achievements except big talking like 4th Industrial revolution. What is this 4th when Indonesia, India, and China supply us even the train carriages? All these belong to 2nd IR, then how about manufacturing sewing machines? Or, say, the iron nails that do not bend at the first strike of a hammer? Producing good quality nails may be a part of the 1st industrial revolution.

you don't even need a "beige box computer", a simple android phone would do the trick.
what im trying to say is that most of the students are not "tech savvy" enough to care about this and find out more about c programming (or IT in general).
And teachers failure to properly teach the students just makes things worse by scaring them. And frankly (C) programing is not everybodys cup of tea.

Ask your disciple friend @TopCat to read the citation below to understand what are the stages of an industrial revolution. This Jabbar or what and @TopCat have tied up together to spread falsehood among the populace just like Haseena Begum says of conquering space with verbal power. BD people should talk about the 1st industrial revolution.

-The citation-
"- The First Industrial Revolution used water and steam power to mechanize production.
- The Second used electric power to create mass production.
- The Third used electronics and information technology to automate production.
- Now a Fourth Industrial Revolution is building on the Third, the digital revolution that has been occurring since the middle of the last century. It is characterized by a fusion of technologies that is blurring the lines between the physical, digital, and biological spheres".
