Article might be talking about Dr Abdullah but it points towards growing Anti Pakistan sentiments in average Afghan. It's easy to handle few people but it takes some serious efforts to fight such perception which is trickling down to citizens steadily. Hatred of Abdulla against Pakistan goes back decades. Abdulla Abdulla is professionally a medical Doctor and of mixed Tajik- Pashtun stock. He had been closely associated with the Northern Alliance and Ahmed Shah Masood who belonged to the Rabbani faction, one of the Tajik Mujahedeen groups.

Ever since Gen Hamid Gul supported Gulgbuddin Hikmatyar of Hizbe Islami who bombed Kabul in 1992, all leaders of Northern Alliance have been staunchly anti-Pakistan. This was made worse when Taliban killed Ahmed Shah and Pakistan become one of the only two countries that recognized Taliban regime.
