‘Must get over with India obsession and admit failures’

First, India is not your enemy, but your neighbour. Moreover, we have no first use of nukes meaning we will react only if other country use its nukes. So there is no excuse on the part of Pak to India centric or have a first nuke policy. Second, the problem is obsession cannot be selective. This obsession of your Army has percolated into every aspects of Pak psyche. From you culture to your sports to your foreign policies to national politics.

As regarding our defence, India wants to be a regional power and most of our defence spending is directed towards that.

How many jokes will you make today ? India isn't our enemy ? ... No first use of nukes doesn't mean **** , because it doesn't prevent you from crossing border ... Over overwhelming conventional superiority of the enemy , Pakistan " First Use " policy is the only acceptable doctrine and strategy ... Actually there is , you are 5x larger than us and yet you are obsessed with a small country next door when you have bigger enemies to deal with :azn: Sorry , PA isn't obsessed , it is just planning carefully according to threat perception , yes exactly what every army does ... Nothing else ... About the psyche of the army , please stop making things now :P Kinda getting boring and unrealistic after you added culture , sports and what not ! Army's threat perception and preparedness has no effect on the thinking of the nation , it isn't like Kayani was openly advocating war against India , was he ? :azn: If not , then this whole argument of yours is flawed ... Merely asking your media and people to be less concerned about the country next door will do the trick for you ! Dramatic and sensational news reports fed to the Indian population will on the other hand only worsen matters ...

.
That's a lame cop out if I ever saw one..

Check the date of 2 nation theory & 1940 plan, Bangladesh was supposed to be different country & Assam being part of it, they 3rd country was Osmanistan consisting of Hyderabad Deccan.

.
But it also shows that even Muslims of the subcontinent cant live together.. Hence the 2 nation theory based on religion is a fail.

Well , if you have researched enough , the muslim leaders envisioned multiple islamic states in the subcontinent so i still do not see any problem ...

.
First off This is a Defence Forum what do you expect its members to write up on ?

Secondly the fact that the future direction of our country is determined by those 3 countries is speculation at best and one that is unfounded in the realities of what I see out there every day ! If none of the political parties or the civil servants of any worth are talking about India but are instead talking about 'militancy', 'Balochistan', 'corruption' and most of all 'Afghanistan' then I think it would be far too creative for us to make such a deduction. Either way our strategic relationship with China is, if anything, strong enough to have a significant effect on Pakistan's policy; not even KSA with their 'drop the pipe-line deal' was able to influence us.

Thirdly, any army is configured to respond to the most significant threats that it perceives against the country....so naturally if we perceive the greatest threat from India we'd make our training, our doctrine and acquisitions 'India-centric' ! If Musharaf is to be believed, as per the NDTV interview that he gave a few years ago, as much as 80% of the Indian Army is focused on Pakistan ! Most of your FOBs and Armour is along the Indo-Pak border...! So naturally we're going to concentrate on that ! Having said that there is no doubt that we recognize the problems emanating from militancy and our battling that !

You cannot deny that India, US and Saudi have huge influence in your foreign policy. Even China doesn't come near. China in a way is being used by Pak to settle its scores with US and India. Tell me what do you have in common with China

As regarding Musharaf, he is lying to justify his actions.

First, India is not your enemy.

Good joke of the century, be careful many indians will jump on you now.

:rofl::rofl:

What a logic, everyone is lier except indians:tdown::woot:

.
Its more like 3 nation theory now.. Looks like Pakistanis of 1947 are also 2 different people now ;)

Oh there would be many more countries emerging out of even the current Indian entity.

There are over 140 secessionist groups operating in India today.

Make no mistake about it, many more nations would emerge.

Historically more countries have emerged from Pakistan and not India.. And looking at Balochistan where both Balochi freedom fighters and even external powers like USA are hell bent to liberate that region from Pakistan's occupation, the chances of a new country emerging there in next decade of 2 are astronomically higher ;)

Believe me, India doesn't consider Pak an enemy. The role of Pak in Indian policy is getting smaller and smaller each passing day. Now most Indian policy makers feel Pak to be irritant in our goal to be a regional power.

Actually , there's something very common between China and Pakistan - interests ... The relation goes beyond enmity to India ... Seriously , Musharraf is lying , where lies the majority of your army , genius ? Do enlighten me :azn:

Contradictory statements ! The role is getting smaller yet most Indian policy makers are concerned about us devising " Cold Start " and " Surgical Strikes " and " Two Front War " against their 5x smaller neighbor over which they enjoy overwhelming conventional superiority :azn: Talk about obsessed

So you feel India spends $50 Billion on defence just to confront Pak,

Really ? Where did Pakistan emerge from ? ... Baluchistan is occupied , says who , UN ? :azn: ... What should I say about the 140+ secessionists movement in the country ? Suddenly , the chances of India disintegrating again become astronomically higher going by your logic

Make no mistake about it, many more nations would emerge.

I know, your institutes prepare you well for this.

But sadly, millions have gone to their graves with this dream in their eyes.

And millions more are headed that way. India is stronger than ever. ;)

If Balochistan is occupied than half of india is occupied by your own logic.:sniper:

You need to learn more about Pakistan & its provinces, kid.
