Muslims flee Myanmar unrest as death toll rises

Your hate for muslims is unfathomable...
Thats all i can say...

what has been done cannot be undone....If a country decides to let mobs take over the law..such country should be condemned at all levels and sanctions imposed,so that they are forced to improve their human rights situation..which in this case is a very swear human suffering...

Question is why this site tolerates such people expressing open hatred towards Muslims. Any expression of bias and hatred should get an immediate and permanent ban. If you cannot protect your own turf, they will always come in and defecate on it.

They are too busy with the "humanitarian missions" in the Middle East and Afghanistan.

Apparently, that is.

What do the Assam riots have to do with this?

Bringing more Rohingyas in would jeopardize Bangladesh's national security. And we won't be taking them all in under any circumstances.

Nearly a million Rohingyas are still in Myanmar living stateless. The ball is ultimately in their court.

The view is not for Bangladesh to react, but to force the Burmese to react. Be it military or diplomatic. And if it is the former, the consequences will be severe.

On another note, increasing trade with Myanmar, and China acting as a source of leverage, it may soften their attitudes towards Bangladesh, whom they view with hostility for unknown reasons. This is all in the long term. Myanmar has a lot of unused resources.

Both the US and China technically support more regional trade and economic integration in both South Asia and South East Asia.

Bamar tribe fighting with the rest of 40-50% minorities for last 60 years actually for last 1200 years since they moved into this area, is like an out of control rabid dog. There is 2 ways to solve this problem, put it out of its misery or treat it to cure its disease. USA and allies and China want to follow the second option because this rabid dog is sitting on a pile of gold.

dont you think you should stop using that d word for denoting another country

question is can Bangladesh have air superiority over those grass eating commies? Our navy will squish their navy like a big. It will all come down to air superiority and the natives supporting us. Its time we liberate Arakan and preach democracy there.

You may be inviting Chinese submarines and airforce against Bangladesh.

Their bases are quite near, our navy can use the c 802s to take down the bases in the south and our f7s to take down the ones in the west. Its possible, our military needs massive planning in huge secrecy. We have a base near cox's bazar, Arakan can easily be taken, where those commies have nothing in the west.

We can cut a deal with the Chinese over Arakan. The commy government of Myanmar don't even listen to China properly, they are even getting cozy with the west.

What will you offer in the deal, don't you know they have port, rail line, oil-gas pipeline in Rakhine connecting to Kunming.

As if some bengalis can conquer mayanmar. Hahaha ask their viet brothers what they will do to yo! Burma will distroy bengali land..

Myanmar has more strategic value due to its resources.

The thing is, it'll take years or even generations for the ethnic tensions to heal as it goes toward a path of reform and development. This isn't my opinion, but that of Aung Sang Suu Kyi, and this is fact. Opening up its economy is crucial, especially since unemployment over there is very high.

That is why now the Chinese are investing in various projects in Bangladesh, including interest in the deep sea port. This will complement with Myanmar as a vital trade route once the Chittagong-Kunming deal is materializes.

The Rohingya issue is a thorn for them right now.

A mutually beneficial relationship should be the end result. But, all in the long term. Time is the best strategy.

Be careful, a lot of Burmese folks do not like the Chinese or anyone who is not Bumar. Even a deep seated hatred of China. Ask any Burmese if you don't believe.

Their government wouldn't dare do anything openly against toward China anyways. Especially since they are dependent on China to some extent, be it military or economic. And it'll remain that way always.

Also, another thing you should note is that the term 'Bengali' is used to describe an ethnic group. They are both in India and Bangladesh. So, try not to misuse it.
