Eh, So Pakistani government made some changes according to what Chekannur Maulavi recommended?
In another book, Succession Law in Islam (July 1991), the Moulavi pointed out several discrepancies between what the Quran allowed and what is in vogue. On the back cover of the book, he offered a 100,000 Rupees reward to anyone who could prove that the succession law as practiced in the Islamic world today has been derived from the Quran. The Moulavi found the common practice of disinheriting orphaned grandchildren as "anti-Quranic". His written
suggestion to the Pakistan Government
, it is said, resulted in a change of law in this regard in that country.

Seems like there are followers of this group not alone in India.

not everything you read online is truth, no one know this mullah in Pakistan..

.
Nothing wrong if woman want to lead women folk in imamat and stand in the middle of the first row, wives of prophet saww used to do that .
However, men should not do imamat consist of only women and women shouldn't imamat men .

.
I can't believe you actually said that  I don't know what century you're living in but please tell me when you invent the wheel.
Cleanliness is a prerequisite for prayers in Islam. Muslim women are exempt from the responsibility of offering prayers during "menstruation periods."

Man is a fallible thing; Allah Almighty is not. 21st century means squat in this matter.

When this world will come to an end and Allah Almighty will demonstrate his power - on that you will realize what was wrong with this world but it will be too late for nonbelievers then.

.
its against the rules of Islam.

HINT: Menstruation cycles

Ever heard of it?

Men are logically and biologically a better choice to manage the affairs of a Masjid (and prayers).
Excuse me . It's not about the better choice , menstrual cycles , affairs of mosque . Did u just ask Allah the reasons and he said u that men are better choice in my sight ?
It's only the matter of gender responsibilities .
Men is never only the best choice for Allah to lead islam, humans are the best choice and in humans it includes men nd women both .

I am a Muslim and understand certain things.

Allah Almighty have given us brain to figure out wisdom in his teachings. People should use it.

Gender equality is a Feminist societal construct, and not compatible with the teachings of Islam in certain ways. Women empowerment doesn't imply that women should start abusing boundaries of Islam itself in order to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with men in each and every matter. A better expression of women empowerment is to enable women to facilitate or support men in the hour of need. Not overdo it.

And women are unclean for something they have no control over? It's a biological function, not a radioactive fallout.
If I meet God in the afterlife, I plan on staging a coup :cheesy:

Good luck with that.

Not going to waste my time with a nonbeliever.

Don't know about other faiths, but in Zoroastrianism a woman does not enter the Atash Behram or Agyari during her periods. Even at home, she prays after a bath. And does not touch the Afarganyu (vessel containing the holy fire) or the sukhad (sandalwood) for the atash during her periods. I'm not really sure about matches or the divo (small floating wick flame in a glass of oil).

I'm pretty certain menses are considered unclean in all cultures and religions. I remember there was a thread on this some time ago. Good discussion, many references.

Cheers, Doc

If u understand certain things about islam then u should also understand to never make any thesis on such things without the confirmation of prophet saww or Allah's teachings , your claim that men are better choice for Allah has no any islamic background, please be careful about these .

it.
If you take it in pretext of imamat then during menstrual cycle of one woman another would be obliged to fulfill the responsibility of imamat if it was allowed in islam for women as it's is for men
Menstrual cycle is never the problem of everything related to islam . Please don't act like hardcore mullahs .

Well mate , I accept what Allah has ordered and commanded .. now its the duty of muslims to not exaggerate this issue and to not start repressing the women of this ummah when ever they start speaking about their rights .

Yeah that's the way of thinking for most religions. Do you have a personal opinion on these things?

Hi , women are not called unclean by Allah swt in the Holy Quran during menstrual cycles .

As a doc I do not consider the periods to be unclean. I know what it is and why it happens.

As a man, obviously, I consider it to be a no sex time. Even at my horniest. I'm being honest here.

As a believer, I see no reason why a man or a woman must make an issue about it. After all, its just 5 days in a month. Sometimes this bra burning gets a bit much.

Cheers, Doc

Women gets same amount of sawab praying at home as compare to men praying at mosque. So what is the point of this?
