Reminds you of the Nuseibeh family in Jerusalem who hold the keys to one of Chrisitanity's most important Church, The Church of Holy Sepulchre. They were given the keys because they were as non christians neutral amongst the different christian sects claiming the Church (Orthodox, Armenian, Catholic etc).
