Muslim couple faces social boycott for protecting Hindu temple

. .
Ohh Sorry sorry its same here Dharma Daivam not Kula Daivam ... But our Dharma Daivam is now popular among local as well and all villagers to the temple and now outsiders are also part of the Temple Administration...

Other then Dharma Daivam we have Shakti temple and Sarpakavu... all are located in different Places ... our family is now totally mixed up in terms of surname most have surnames as Kurup and Paniker but there are Pillai's , Nair's and even one family has Surname as Verma :o: one of my distant cousin has married a Catholic girl while one married an Ezava boy while an another Distant cousin married an Vishwakarma girl and my brother in law is a Nair from Kannur but his family call themselves as Yadavas ...

Well in my family ,all of us are either Pillai or Nair as surname .My mother grandfather was a Brahmin from Perunna ,Changanasseri .That is our one and only diverse community in our family .

Mixing of surnames is quite common among Nairs. My own family is a mix of Kaimal, Menon and Nair with a bit of Pillai thrown in.

The Indians do not see it this way. I am secular but I don't think the focus to prove religious harmony and tolerance should be on us loosing our traditions and way of life. Becoming hinduish becomes a benchmark for the Indians to gauge tolerance and that is poor policy that displays insecurity not tolerance. A muslim child dressing up as a Hindu God. A muslim man worshipping Rama... theres the flaw in thinking right there.

Secularism should rid itself of religious influences to truly thrive.

Now that is very sane comment!....You are absolutely right. Islam is against Idol worship and its followers do what the holy books asks them to do...I respect that, what I dont agree is when I am called a kaffir or an infidel, you have your beliefs I have mine...all of us should learn to accept and respect each ones belief, which is a personal affair..It is a relationship with God that each one shares privately, not publicly...My 2 Cents.
Both of you nailed it
Respecting another religion and adopting it to prove how respectful you are to a particular religion are two different things.
Secularism is failed both in india and pakistan and here the minorties have to adopt the religion of a majority just to prove his loyalty to a country because the religious dimwits in both countries believe pakistan is for muslims and india is for hindus.

.
I thought it was a Muslims duty to protect the minorities under their rule.? Although the couple shouldn't be worshiping the temple, some kind of shirk, Muslims shouldn't be asking for it's destruction either.

.
Yeah But I have seen Sarpa Kavu among Ezava and Nambodiri Community as well @Marxist But the Tiyyar dont usually have Kavus, I think they dont have a Martial histroy like the Ezava community who used to practice Kalari just like the Nairs ...

Apart from that I have a Kula Daivam Temple and a Badrakali Temple, as my paternal and Matrenal family are Kurup's and Paniker's ... I think most Nairs with Kurup and Panikar Surname have a Badrakali Temple for worshiping Shakti @kurup

I only have links with my paternal family .... not much is known about my maternal family ..... name of that kudumbam was Panara .

From paternal side , our kudumbam is ILampallil .... Kudumbakshethram is Orippurathu Devi Kshethram and has a sarppakkavu as well both near Thatta ...... Kudumbadevatha is Malayalappuzha Devi .

@SrNair , @nair

Bloody mushriks, so anything that you think brings you good luck you start worshiping that. Should probably change their names to Nag Sevak or something, Abu Bakar is hardly a suitable name for such mushriks. Staying with hindus surely corrupts one's faith especially if one's ancestors were hindus too. Another reason for loving Pakistan, at least my "Hindu roots" can't corrupt my faith. But well done to the local community for boycotting them.

Snake gods came as saviors? Do you know absolutely how funny that sounds?
Didnt even know you guys worshipped snakes; literally every moving thing in India can end up getting worshipped.

Most of us dont even have a "Hindu root"; our Pasthun population makes up around 50% of Pakistan(including pathans of punjab) and they migrated from Syria; our Baloch population (5%) came from around the caspain sea and our Sindh population is so diverse that we even have African-Pakistanis over there on the coasts; Kashmiris and Pasthuns are heavily related.

The cleric and the muslims community doesn't seem to be bother about the pagan couple. They r not harming them. So what's the fuss here? Something is really off here. What's the rest of the story? It seems the indian secular and hindutvadi media is in sync , promoting an environment where they can repeat the gujrat massacre.

If these couple practice paganism, muslims will naturally treat them as non-muslims. What else do the indian media expect ?

Do these ignorant idiots even understand what Islam is and what it means to be a muslim? Are they religiously so illiterate ? Committing shirk by worshiping snakes and stones and then calling themselves muslim and whining. U cease to be a muslim the moment u ascribe a partner or rival to Allah (swt), the one and only Creator of everything that exist.

Shirk is the greatest of sins, because Allah has told us that He will not forgive the one who does not repent to Him from it, but in the case of lesser sins the matter is subject to His will: if He wills, He will forgive the one who meets Him with that sin unrepented for, and if He wills, He will punish him.

"Indeed, Allah does not forgive association with Him, but He forgives what is less than that for whom He wills. And he who associates others with Allah has certainly fabricated a tremendous sin " - Surah An-Nisa - The Noble Qur'an - القرآن الكريم

Brings me to my conclusion -
Islam, in it's purest form (or as most would agree, in its original form) is not compatible with a pluralistic India/Bharat.

I have heard brahmans dont touch food prepared by.non Brahmans?

Dont make fun of Hindu practices and traditions making fun of other religions is a sin

. . . .
I only asked you a simple question i dont know where i was being offensive?
It's a matter of personal choice, answering your question. There is no hard and fast rule. As a matter of fact, Hindu way of life hardly has any separate rules/cases for dealing with Non-Hindus. To take it further, you will be hard-pressed to find a proper definition for non-Hindu in the Hindu religious scriptures.
Reason is very simple. When the religion came into being, there was no other! So, in a way all were Hindus!

You generalised entire Indians .That is what I am talking about?
This is not 19 th century buddy.
Except some remote places southern India dont have any aggressive form of caste system.
In Kerala you cant find that old customs aggressively. But people still prefer marriage relation from same community .
Sorry dude if I was offensive.
