Musharraf Ki Yaad AAyi Us Kay Janay Kay Baad

I read a news about security check of Gen. Musharraf and here is my take on it. If it is true then I salute my leader and my respect for him has grown 10 times because he always maintained that he is the leader of common Pakistanis and he will face everything and anything for the sake of Pakistan.

Today he proved that there is no US or CIA behind him otherwise he would have got the same treatment as Zardari or Nawaz Sharif.

Before this day where was his leadership for the common Pakistanis? Where was his leadership for Pakistanis when his men were extra-judicially abducting and selling Pakistanis to their enemies? Where was his leadership for Pakistanis when his men were dragging the honorable Justices out of their chambers and imprisoning them in their residences along with their family members? Were those Justices not Pakistanis? or were those Justices RAW agents? Where was his leadership for Pakistanis when people were committing suicides for not being able to feed their families and kids? Where was his leadership for Pakistanis when he and his PM Aziz bagged millions of dollars worth of officials presents/gifts instead of selling those and distributed the money among Pakistanis?

Today he proved that there is no US or CIA behind him otherwise he would have got the same treatment as Zardari or Nawaz Sharif.
Since when the ousted Dictators started getting official protocols? Indeed he did a lot for his masters but now he is only a 'chala howa kartoos', why should US give him any protocol reserved for the Statesmen only?

Musharraf soon to return in country: Afghan
CHAKWAL (SANA): Former law minister Dr Sher Afghan Khan Niazi has said that former President Gen (retd) Pervez Musharraf will soon return in the country.

He said it is the wrong understanding of PPP and PML-N that former President Gen (retd) Pervez Musharraf will not return in Pakistan.

This he said while in a telephonic talk with the representatives of Chakwal Press Club, adding that Barrister Aitzaz Ahsan’s statement that Pervez Musharraf is a coward man and will never returned to Pakistan is like a buttering of President Asif Ali Zardari for grabbing of some big post in the government.

Sher Afghan Niazi said that Pervez Musharraf have become a monster for PPP and PML-N.

He said Pervez Musharraf had given the right of appointments in the higher judiciary to the Chief Justice of Pakistan through 17th amendment but present government through 18th amendment included the government involvement in the appointments of the judges’ in higher judiciary, which shows that the Musharraf era was better than present government ear.

He said that Musharraf is pioneer of electronic media in Pakistan, adding that today media is big power in Pakistan which is the result of Musharraf’s polices.

Afghan further said that instantly after the registration of All Pakistan Muslim League, the schedule for the Musharraf return will be announced.

He said there is no hurdle in the return of Musharraf, adding that Musharraf is ready to tackle every kind of situation after his return to Pakistan.

He said that strong leadership could bring out the country out of this present situation.

Musharraf Ki Yaad AAyi Us Kay Janay Kay Baad jab bijli na aai aur yaad aaya Musharaf ne kuch nahin kia 8 saal mien.

the problem today is that people dont want to see or hear the other side of the story they form conclusion what they hear from. people in this forum have failed to give any valid point against musharraf except for the breaking of constitution and power crisis.well for first the 1999 take over by musharraf was bloodless coup and people were at that time were face up by on going corruption at that time of PPP and PML.Thats why no major riots were there. Now come to Power shortage its not due negligence of musharaf he tried to biuld dams and coal power generation plants and not to forget the civilian nuclear power plants projects like chashma but the economic growth was so much that the supply cant handle that but its non sense to say he didnt do anything.Lastly what the current government have done to this country hah!except for bashing and pointing out to musharraf for every problem its been three years i have seen no development no major projects just corruption and pointing and blaming.about economic progress ok dont go to numbers since you people think its cheated well just look around i for inctance see the change look at number of household having enough power to have ACs cars motorcycles and how the telecom industry growth look at the infrastructure build at his time just go back to any aerial thread of this forum in 2007 ull see people commenting of purchasing rafale because of the economic growth. Now comes to defence well what can isay JF 17, AL KHALID, nuclear expansion missiles like babur, shaheen ,etc.
Well you may support whoever you want zadari nawaz shrif or anyone but my vote goes to musharraf and im proud of it!

i dont think a person who have fought three wars on the battlefield for the safeguard of this country can do any harm to this country he is the one who free the media and brought true democracy to pakistan but unfortunate to him these things later became biggest hurdle to him.He is better than the rest

In 1999, under Nawaz Sharif, Revenue generation of around Rs.308 billion could not meet the growing expenditure requirements; with only an average of Rs.80 billion being spent on Public sector development programs (PSDP) annually, and no visible project to boast about. From this Rs.308 billion around 65% was being utilized for debt servicing. In 1988 Pakistan’s foreign debt was $18 billion, but at the end of 1999 it had accumulated to become $38 billion. A 100% increased burden on the already crippled economy. Public and external debt exceeded 300% of Foreign exchange earnings.[52]
Musharraf then appointed Shaukat Aziz, a former Citibank executive, as finance minister. Profile: Shaukat Aziz - BBC News
Pakistan's Economic Comparison 1999 to 2007
Pakistan’s economy grew by 100% — to become $ 160 billion
Revenue grew by 100% — to become $ 11.4 billion
Per Capita income grew by 100% — to become $ 925
Foreign Reserves grew by 500% — to become $ 17 billion
Exports grew by 100% — to become $ 18.5 billion
Textile exports grew by 100% — to become $ 11.2 billion
Karachi Stock Exchange grew by 500% — to become $ 75 billion
Foreign Direct Investment grew by 500% — to become $ 8.4 billion
Annual Debt servicing decreased by 35% — to become 26%
Poverty decreased by 10% — to become 24%
Literacy ratio grew by 10% — to become 54%
Public development Funds grew by 100% — to become Rs 520 billion[53][54][55][56][57][58]
The vision and policies helped Pakistan come out of the list of Highly Indebted Poor Countries (HIPC) while setting it on path of prosperity, growth and economic reforms. The world financial institutions like the World Bank[59] and IMF[60] and ADB[61] have been praising Pakistan for its reforms, fiscal policies and macro-economic achievements.

They are indeed answerable to the Supreme Judicial Counsel. The "petition" that was used to "kick out" the CJP was based on mala fide intentions, violated constitutional method of referencing to the SJC, violated legal precedents as the reference wasn't sent to the SJC first and when the CJP was restored everybody had the right to file a proper reference through legal procedures. The President could then have sent the reference and initiated proceedings. A new reference never came, hence no proceedings could ever be started.

Legislation, especially civil litigation, is a very complex field. I do not expect anybody, except top jurists to understand the complexities.

The complete judgment makes clear each and every step of the procedure that should have been followed and mentions that any references cannot by blocked by any person as well. In the case of a reference against the CJP or any other member of the SJC, the said member is sidelined for the inquiry and the SJC presents its binding recommendations to the President for approval.

Judgment :- http://www.supremecourt.gov.pk/web/user_files/File/ConstitutionPetitionNo21OF2007.pdf

Ironic, If he was innocent, why did he chose not to appear before pre-movement supreme judicial council? why was he compelled or felt the need to increase the bench from 3 to 5 to 9 and ending up with 11? (correct me if I'm wrong, these are the same judges in office today.)

On numerous occassions Gen. Musharraf said he would accept the verdict. Was it not proof enough that the CJP was manipulating his way into a verdict of his own liking?

That is completely incorrect.

that's what i call mariculas.
i hope Musharraf understand that comprehensive foreign conspiracy against Pakistan started in shape of 9/11 and he being the biggest stumbling block in the way of evil spirits was ought to be removed from the power.
Once axis of evil lost to his leadership skills, they attempted to kill him but again maricalously he survived every time.
I believe he is there for a purpose until it is fulfilled, he is gona stay among us among our hearts as a true leader........ and this gives heart burns to axis of evil..... hence non issues are highlighted by evil controlled media, unfairly.

The figures in GWh are giving a wrong impression. The production in GWh increased for the PPs remained operational for longer hours in order to meet demands which they could not make even with long stints.

"The country may plunge into energy crisis by the year 2007 due to rising electricity demand which enters into double digit figure following increasing sale of electrical and electronic appliances on lease finance, it is reliably learnt Thursday" - Energy Bulletin, July 2, 2004

I know these figures, from official sources :-
