Guys,

like it or not am supporter of Gen Musharaf.

I was fortunate to see his national speech on lal masjid operation over you tube which had alot of logical points and had sense to make!

I wonder if any one of you did see him! After watching his speech i have become his staunch supporter.

I have been abroad and i usually analyze Pakistan and its social political issues with respect of what and how people of world perceive us. Honestly speaking Pakistan donot have Musharaf replacement. Why dont we let him do his work for atleast next 5 to 10 years and let Pakistan become strong country and then we may work on our social fabric by eliminating our social taboos and make our country a true islamic state which could serve the purpose of ISLAM for which our great ancestors gave sacrifice?

What do you guys think?

When i say serving islam, i mean that time of imam mehdi is near and for that in my point of view, Pakistan in collaboration with Iran, Central Asia and Indonesia, serves as the basis of socio political, economical and demographical platform for such cause. And Imam mehdi would be the social reformer of islamic society as it is apparent that islamic society around the world have been strayed away from the true message!!!

Need your input on Mushy's presidency in serving the bigger cause that is yet to be played by Pakistan and pakistanis!!!

Pakistan Zindabad:pakistan:

There is French saying " Chac un son goute " meaning every one to ones taste and you are entitled to your point of view. Presidency of Pakistan is no ones birth right. People of Pakistan have to decide and if most want to go hell they should have the right to do so.

My opinion remains that Mush has had 8 years and I dont mind that he stays on for another 5 or 10. However he should have the courage to hold fair elections and get himself elected from the new assembly. If he fails. he should have the decency to retire gracefully.

This doesnt mean that I favour BB or NS or any one else. Despite my many faults, I am a democrat at heart. Who so ever is chosen by the Pakistanis to lead Pakistan will be acceptable whether I like it or not.

Pakistan is never going to get out of the current mess if we dont listen to what joe public really wants even if it means a 'Breake up' and I am not going to tell any one what is good for them.

break up!!!! wat public wants!!!!! fair elections!!!!!

You sound more to me NEWSPAPER or NEWCHANNEL !!!

I believe we must learn to agree to disagree!!!!!

well i dont agree with you 100% but i dnt disagree with you either!!!!

bro i beleive our nation has no outlook and simply they are bunch of sheepish individuals who cannot lead there families so what to talk about the nation.

You and every one talk about deomcracy without even knowing it!!! I beleive i ll still go with dictatorship for every cost!!! why because if you talk abt democracy the very foundation of democracy is based on shirk and that is soveriegnty belongs to the people.....with this system can you make your system succeed!!!!i dont think so!!!!!

I believe for stable economy and military might we need consistent people

fair elections!!!! break up!!!!public wants!!! are just other lame excuses for not being active to do what you were suppose to do!!!!

Yarmook, your post reminds me of a saying : People of a country deserve the leaders they get.

Yea, your right!!!

Nawaz and Bhutto cannot run for elections untill constitution is modified.

I really wish that Musharraf set aside and do not give any sanctions to any poltical party.

I'm sure in next elections no political party will have majority and it will be a hung parliment there will be alliances of interest and small parties with fewer seats will demand ministries in exchange for alliance, which will be granted by big parties to keep the top post. This will start internal rifts among the ruling party and it's members will change loyalties which will lead to vote of no-confidence and then the ruling PM will go to Army Cheif for help and there goes another Martial law, most probably the new martial will appoint Musharraf as new president.
Other scenario is that President will dissolve assemblies.
For this reason I say Musharraf should refrain from giving any undue concessionst to any party or person.
Bhutto is clever and she see this all and that's why she want alliance with Musharraf. If you don't do that than she can never have majority enough to make amendments in law according to her wishes. In short she had no future without Musharraf.
