As MQM planing to launch protests and AH kinda serious this time @batmannow@Norwegian how you guys related this move on coming PTI protest in Karachi on 12th December? My guess there is some back door talks between PTI and MQM.

There are always back door talks in politics .. MQM will not let PTI close karachi on its own and claim the credit nor they would want to stop them from their protest else it will be open confrontation between MQM and PTI workers .. i guess they will simply call the strike or protest on the same date as PTI

MQM chief suspends Rabita Committees

LONDON: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief, Altaf Hussain, on Wednesday suspended party’s Rabita Committees (coordination committee) in London and Karachi, Samaa reported.

According to our correspondent, the MQM chief took the decision over lackluster reaction of his party leaders over assassination of Bau Muhammad Anwar, MQM’s Sialkot District Vice President, who was shot dead late on Tuesday.

Reports said the MQM chief was already annoyed with coordination committee members over repeated complaints of party workers.

Today, the MQM founder announced to suspend the committees of London and Karachi, citing late and muted response by the members over the party office-bearer’s killing.

He urged the senior party members to play their active role to resolve workers’ problems. Altaf Hussain also appealed party supporters to come forward for countrywide protests against Anwar’s assassination.

Meanwhile, sources said the party chief has appointed Arshad Hussain and Qamar Mansoor as Acting Incharges of London and Pakistan Rabita Committees, respectively. – Samaa
