قیام پاکستان 1947ء سے لے کر اب تک ہم آزادی کا جشن مناتے چلے آرہے ہیں لیکن کیا ہم آزاد ہیں؟ کیا کبھی ہم نے اپنے آپ سے یہ سوال کیاکہ یہ زندگی جو ہمیں خالق کائنات نے ایک نعمت کے طورپرعطاکی ہے اس پر صرف اور صرف ہمارا حق ہے ، اورجس طریقہ کار پر عمل پیرا ہوکر اپنے کردار اور زندگی کو گذارنا چاہیے وہ طریقہ تعلیم ہے جو ہمیں اچھے اور برے ،صحیح اور غلط سے روشناس کرواتی ہے۔ لیکن بدقسمتی سے تعلیم کی کمی اور حالات کی مجبوری نے ہمیں آج تک جہالت کی قید میں جکڑ رکھا ہے ۔اسکا ذمہ داروہ فرسودہ نظام اور رسم و رواج ہے ۔آج بھی ہمیں افسوس کے ساتھ یہ کہنا پڑتا ہے کہ آزادی حاصل کرکے بھی ہم آزاد نہیں ہوئے اور آج تک ہم لوگ ظلم کی چکی میں پس رہے ہیں۔ قیام پاکستان سے پہلے ہم انگریزوں کے غلام تھے اور قیام پاکستان کے بعد بھی ہم انگریزوں کے نوازے ہوئے نام نہاد پاکستانی وڈیرے، جاگیرداراورامیرزادوں کے غلام ہیں۔ کبھی پیری مریدی کے نام پر توکبھی وڈیرہ شاہی کے نام پر لوگوں کو اپنے جال میں قیدکررکھاہے۔بالخصوص وہ لوگ جو اندرون سندھ میں رہتے ہیں انکو اورانکی آنے والی نسلوں کو جان بوجھ کر جہالت کے اندھیروں میں دھکیلا جارہاہے تاکہ وہ شعوری طورپر ساری زندگی معذوررہیں اور ان وڈیروں اور جاگیرداروں کی قید سے آزاد نہ ہوسکیں اور اپنی ساری زندگی انہی کے اشاروں پر گذارتے ہوئے اس جہان فانی سے رخصت ہوجائیں اور جن کو وہ اپنا سب کچھ مانتے ہیں وہ اپنی اولادوں کو پڑھالکھا کر ایوانوں میں پہنچاکران پر اپنا جبروظلم جاری رکھنے کا لائسنس حاصل کرلیتے ہیں پھر وہ اس غریب اور مظلوم عوام پر کتے چھوڑیں یا پھر سرعام کاری قراردیں یا پھر ان بے یارومددگارلوگوں پراپنااثرورسوخ قائم رکھنے کیلئے انکو سرعام گولی ماریں۔ تو کوئی بھی ارباب اختیاران ظلم کرنے والے لوگوں سے یہ پوچھنے کی جرأت نہیں کرسکتا کہ تم ان مظلومں پراتنا ظلم کیوں ڈھاتے ہو؟ کوئی بے گناہ مرتا ہے تو مرجائے، سب کو اختیار اور کرسی بچانے کی فکر لگی ہوئی ہے ۔ ایوانوں میں بیٹھے ہوئے بااختیار لوگ جن کو عوام اپنی نمائندگی کیلئے بھیجتی ہے اوروہ انصاف کے علمبردار جو اپنے آپ کو صادق و امین کہتے ہیں اور انصاف کا نعرہ لگاکرانصاف کی کرسی پر بیٹھ کر لوگوں کو دھوکہ دیکر یاانہیں سنہرے خواب دیکھا کر لوگوں کو احساس محرومی دینے والے یہ بھول جاتے ہیں کہ ان دن حشربرپا ہوگا اور اس دن امیر و غریب ، ظالم اور مظلوم ، حاکم اور محکوم ، اچھے اور برے سب لوگوں کا اس رب کائنات سے سامنا ہوگا۔ جس پاک ہستی کو ہم بھول کر زندگی کی فانی رنگینیوں میں کھو جاتے ہیں ،ہم اس بے بنیاد رسم و رواج کی زنجیروں میں جکڑے ہوئے ہیں جس کا دین و دنیاوی زندگی سے کوئی واسطہ نہیں ہے۔ کبھی کسی معصوم کی قرآن سے شادی کروادینا تاکہ اسکے حصہ کی جائیدادان ہی تک رہ جائے اور وہ حسین زندگی کی تمام ترخواہشات کے ساتھ موت کی آغوش میں ہمیشہ ہمیشہ کیلئے سوجائے۔ میرا ان تما م ارباب اختیار سے ایک عام شہری ہونے کے ناطے سوال ہے کیااس ملک میں غریب کو کبھی انصاف نہیں ملے گا۔ کیا وہ انصاف حاصل کرنے کی پاداش میں یہاں سے وہاں تک دھکے اور رسوائی برداشت کرتا رہے گا اور وہ اسی طرح وڈیرے جاگیردار اور طاقتورلوگوں اور انکی بگڑی ہوئی اولادوں کے ظلم و بربریت کی بھینٹ چڑھتا رہے گا۔ کیا اس ملک کی غریب و مجبور عوام کو دو وقت کی روٹی عزت کے ساتھ میسر ہوپائے گی یا پھر وہ قحط سالی اور فاقہ کشی جیسے عذاب جھیلتے رہیں گے جیسا کہ تھر کے ریگستانوں میں ہورہا ہے۔کیا کبھی غریب عوام کے بچے اچھی تعلیم سے آراستہ ہوسکیں گے؟ یا پھر انکو بھی علم کی روشنی سے محروم کردیا جائیگا۔؟؟؟ڈرو اس وقت سے جب عوام کے ہاتھ میں انقلاب کا پرچم بلند وبالاہوگا ۔انکے احتجاج کا انداز بھی نرالا ہوگا۔ پاکستان کے کسان اور مزدوراور ہر انسان کو زندگی گذار نے کا اتنا ہی حق ہے جتنا ایوانوں میں بیٹھے ہوئے حکمرانوں کو اور ان تمام عوامی نمائندوں کو ، جن کا گھر عوام کے ادا کیے ہوئے ٹیکسو ں کی رقوم سے چلتا ہے ۔خدارا!زندگی کی مسلمہ حقیقت کو سمجھتے ہوئے حقوق العباد کا خیال رکھیں اور عوام کو انکی بنیادی ضرورتوں سے محروم نہ کریں۔ ڈریں اس وقت سے جب اس ملک کی عوام قانون کو اپنے ہاتھ میں لیں اور ملک میں ہر طرف غیر یقینی کی سی صورتحال پیدا ہوجائے ۔ ہمیں ماضی کی غلطیوں سے سبق سیکھتے ہوئے اسکا ازالہ کرناچاہیے۔ کہیں ایسانہ ہوکہ بہت دیرہوجائے اور ہم ہاتھ ملتے رہ جائیں۔ ہمیں اب انگریزوں کے بنائے ہوئے دقیانوسی نظام کو بدل کر ایک ایسے نظام کو قائم کرناہوگا جو ہماری انسانی ،معاشرتی، اقتصادی اقدار کی عکاسی کرتاہو۔ جس میں سب کو برابری کا حق ملے۔ یاد رکھیئے! ہر عروج کو زوال ہے اور جس طرح کا نظام ہمارے ملک میں چل رہا ہے اس کا زوال اب بہت قریب ہے اور وہ دن دورنہیں جب پاکستان میں رہنے والے ہر فرد کو اسکا بنیادی حق مل رہاہوگا ،مانگ کر یا پھر چھین کر۔۔۔۔فیصلہ آپ کے ہاتھ میں ہے۔ذراسوچیئے !!!

Terrorists Who Have Massacred Innocent People On Friday Are Open Enemies Of Islam And Humanity: Altaf Hussain

It is a cruel joke that the government is negotiating with these terrorists instead of taking stern action against them.
The founder and leader of MQM Mr. Altaf Hussain has strongly condemned the bomb blast near Moti Masjid in Delhi Colony in the strongest possible terms. He expressed his deep sorrow and grief over the deaths and the people who were injured in the attack.
“Terrorists who have massacred innocent people, who had come to mosque for prayer, on Friday are open enemies of Islam and humanity. They are carrying out mindless massacres and terrorists acts to destabilize Pakistan. It is a cruel joke that the government is negotiating with these terrorists instead of taking stern action against them, “ Mr. Hussain said.
Mr. Hussain said we must take concrete and effective actions against these terrorists if we wanted to end terrorism from our country.
He has demanded that the Prime Minister Nawaz Shareef, Federal Interior Minister , Governor Sindh Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ebad and Chief Minister Sindh Qaim Ali Shah should take notice of the bomb attack and take action against the perpetrators. He also asked the government to take measures to protect the life and property of people.
Mr. Husain said to the bereaved families that he and his party share their grief. He also prayed for the speedy recovery of injured people.

SC upholds acquittal of MQM activists in Hakeem Said murder

KARACHI: The Supreme Court on Saturday upheld the verdict of Sindh High Court (SHC) rejecting the provincial government’s appeal regarding acquittal of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) activists in the murder case of famous philanthropist, writer and physician Hakeem Mohammad Said, DawnNews reported.
The government in 2001 had filed the appeal in the apex court against the judgment of the SHC’s anti-terrorism appellate bench which acquitted all nine accused in Hakeem Said murder case.
MQM workers Mohammed Amirullah, Mohammed Shakir alias Shakir Langra and Abu Imran Pasha were among the nine acquitted.
On June 4, 1999, the anti-terrorism court No VI, Karachi, had convicted the respondents and sentenced them to death for causing the death of Hakeem Mohammed Said and two others. They were also fined Rs100,000 each.
The decision brought joy among the MQM ranks and sweets were distributed in Burns Road, Ranchor Line and Liaquatabad among other areas of the port city.

The founder and leader of MQM Mr. Altaf Hussain has made a solemn and earnest appeal to the Prime Minister of Pakistan to play a constructive role to steer Pakistan out crisis. He added that he has made this appeal because Pakistan’s security and survival is at stake.
“Mian Nawaz Shareef holds an important post. Pakistan is facing internal and external challenges. The situation demands that he should not waste time and take into confidence the law makers in the National Assembly and Senate to build a consensus tackle internal challenges faced by the nation. He can also convene an all parties conference for this purpose. Mian Nawaz Shareef is the prime minister of Pakistan. The person who holds this post must be responsible and generous. In this crisis the prime minister should not desert the nation. He must come forward and lead the nation. We have got this democracy after rendering enormous sacrifices, “ Mr. Hussain said in a statement released from London.
“Our country is economically weak and needs foreign aids for its survival. We need national solidarity, unity and harmony among people and good relations between the institutions, “ Mr. Hussain said.

A delegation of Ahle-Hadith Rabita Council Pakistan headed by its Chairman Maulana Amir Abdullah Farooqui and Dr. Amir Abdullah Muhammadi met with MQM Rabita Committee’s members Ahmed Salim Siddiqui and Saif Yar Khan at the Khursheed Begum Secretariat. MQM’s Ulema Committee’s in-charge Javed Ahmed were also present.
MQM’s Rabita Committee discussed with them the terrorism in Karachi and expressed their concern over the growing incidents of terrorist activities. They told them that Quaid-e-Tehreek Altaf Hussain was against extremism and sectarianism. They added that he had been struggling for sectarian and religious harmony and worked for good relations between people and institutions of the country.
Maulana Amir Abdullah said that MQM and its leader had always played important role for sectarian harmony. He assured MQM Rabita Committee members that Ahle-Hadith would also play its role for sectarian harmony wherever needed. The delegation presented a book on the topic of sectarian harmony to Rabita Committee members and prayed for the health and life of Mr. Hussain.
