According to a pretty good user (who have information about kind of things) problems are solved and really good rifle coming Turkish Armed Forces push MKEK and finally they did it.

If the picture, @cabatli have posted, is the rifle you are talking about. I cant see a pretty good (design case) rifle. Maybe the spezification. Looks a litle bit heavy.

I would rather carry a 3.2 kg MPT than the 4.5 kg G3 which i used during service.... That said i don't know the other rifles. Which rifles did you compared MPT, to say it's heavy ?
