Why is 'Turkic Ethnicity' such a hallowed thing to find unity in ? Why not the rest of us ? We're Muslims, you're predominantly Muslims and whereas we might have a different take on many things....an insane amount of things between us converge in ways to produce 'commonality' that Turkey can never enjoy with (say!) Europe or anyother predominantly Non-Muslim bloc ! Why not strengthen something like the OIC to make it something along the lines of NATO and the UN in a humanitarian and welfare oriented capacity; have a Turkic bloc within that, let the Arabs have an Arab bloc and we South Asians will have a South Asian bloc ! What do you say ?

Islam can be interpeted in different ways; this causes diversions and this would be a weakness. Look how Iran is backing Syria right now because they are shia. A muslim union would never work. I am not saying this Turkic 'union' should have no relations with muslim countries. Some muslim countries such as Pakistan should be Turkeys strong ally. A union based on race however is way better; you cannot interpet a ethicity in different ways.. Turkey has no place in NATO. What is the NATO?! What has Turkey gained from the NATO but fake allies and lots of enemys.

No, I am not agianst the idea of creating a union from Turkic states or anything... I find it a impossible goal but not an underiableone. But I am talking about those who thinks Turks are born to rule...

I think Turkey in coming future will introduce Arabic & Kurdish as state languages by keeping Turkish as a national language that will enable the Turks to get full membership of Arab League that will work as a force multiplier with in OIC, already headed by a Turk. Turkic Union will also come under the same umbrella of OIC and in my opinion Levant will directly come under Turkish umbrella.

I read there charter it says that a country that have Arabic whether the National language or one of state language can be the member of Arab league and Ankara is already an observer there. It is business and geopolitcs dear, and you have Arabic speaking population in Hatay province as well and kindly read the penultimate line of my post carefully

Wait & watch that will happen very soon and the reasons i already gave you. The future of Turkey as a leader lies in middle east simultaneously that will provide you strategic depth in geopolitics & in the EU you will never be able to get even an equal status.

What I see, in the future of Middle East is the blurring of ethnic identity and the consolidation under the umbrella of religious belief that makes Turkey the natural leader? Full membership in Arab league will provide the platform to achieve that position.

if some day arab leauge , Turcic states and some balkan-caucas states will be united ; "the union's" name should be "avrasia union".. not arabic not turcic nor islamic union..

if there is a ethnic or a religonal name , there is always going to be seperation and fight.. (as being for centuries)

this would be a good and fair answer to usa's sucking "great middle east project"

i hope the thing you said about OIC but its not possible because we are not strong enough and it will create a conception like muslims vs christian , think about it biggest muslim economy turkey or indonesia know ( dont know exactly ) has like 1 trillion economy - Indonesia 200 million i think , 1 trillion , america 300 million - 14 trillion , all of OIC together like 8 trillion , US - 14 trillion
