if you watch stupid movies thats your problem. Horrible thing is you not only watch it once but again. That is called insanity, doing the same thing repeatedly and expect it to change.

India produces 800 movies every year and obviously some of them would be obviously bad. I read reviews before watching them. As such I never watched stupid movies.

This is the first time I have watched any movie of Dilip Kumar.

I looked at the movie because of Katrina Kaif, but I found that it had a strong political hint. and Salman Khan made me feel hypocritical. So give up.

These kind of movies, a popular theme since Bhutto and Zia era were deeply satirical..actually in the name of Islamic cover, they presented the entertainment which was deemed too haram by society.

Today I tried to watch two of Dilip Kumar hits, couldn't stand the stupidity and emotional abuse..fast forward and quit..Brings me to question...what are the most stupid and retarded Indian movies one has tried to watch?

1. Mazdoor
2. Naya Dour

desi movies dont age well... ask your parents they will swear these are best movies.. lol
but if you ask me, yeah I cant watch them... the current ones are better.
in general most hindi movies are crap (and south indian movies are piles of sh*t).... a few movies are good too but wont translate to western sensibility.(for desi pplz only).
you might like some art movies or crossover movies then... they dont offend one's intelligence much.

It boggles my mind that people enjoy this crap. It's not just vile, but downright abysmal in terms of character development and especially plot.

I never watch Indian movies because I find it unpatriotic to do so.

So long as you pirate it all is well, but I'd seriously question your tastes if you enjoy Bollywood.

I confess that I've never seen any Indian movies.

Would like to see at least a few one day to expand my horizons.

Six recommendations from me :

1. Vijeta, meaning victor in Hindi ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vijeta_(1982_film) ) - It's set in a military academy and during the 1971 war with Pakistan but it not a jingoistic war film.

2. Arjun ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arjun_(1985_film) ) - It's about a idealistic and unemployed young man who mistakenly gets drawn into corrupt politics.

3. Rocket Singh, Salesman of the year ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rocket_Singh:_Salesman_of_the_Year ) - If you want to build a company and/or are jaded by the corruption in the corporate world, watch this film.

4. Harud ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harud ) - A good film on what the ordinary, unaligned Kashmiri goes through in the ongoing Kashmir troubles.

5. Jaane bhi do yaaron ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jaane_Bhi_Do_Yaaro ) - The finest Indian satire about the politics-business corruption nexus.

6. Prahaar, meaning attack in Hindi ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prahaar:_The_Final_Attack ) - Set in a army commando training academy and outside it. Not a war film.

I don't know if you can get subtitles for all six.

I was forced into watching some indian movies with my indian friends. The movie I saw was namastey london which was pretty stupid. I say that because it shows a pairing of a villager with a ego maniac british bimbo and how he desperately tries to win her over a handsome white guy. Give me a break! The only reason I bare to watch such a film is because of my friends.
