Is it a case of wanting to look like "sahib" ? Fulfilling a dream and seeing a wanted self-image on-screen of looking like sahib ?

Or does it just reflect the taste of Bollywood producers ?

I don't think Indians go for the European looks. Its somewhere in between European and South Asian look.

And its not the case of wanting to look like a "sahib". Do you ever sees Europeans or Americans who get their skinned tanned going, oh its the case of wanting to look like Indians or Middle Eastern? They don't right?

If "white people" want darker skin, thats fashion, but if brown people try to go for a shade or two lighter skin, thats trying to be shahib? Its in the head of people like you that brown is not as good as white or black is not as good as white. Get that bias out of your head.
