Big deal ! Names evolve over a period of time but the ancient Hindu culture is the same as it was over the past ~4K yrs similar to China & the name IND is just the perfect embodiment of the evolution seen in South Asia over that period of time i.e. we're pretty much the past, present, future of the Indian subcontinent.

However, the ancient Hindu kingdoms never got unified as one. :coffee:

There were many factors responsible for that like language, it might not seem much but those from different regions spoke different languages & the ones familiar with each other sided along while the others were mutually suspicious of the other entity.

Which study is this?

I remember recently another member here posted an interesting study by some Mr. Rosenberg which also shows how all the major Pakistani ethnicities have a significant Eurasian presence. Look from Balochi down to Punjabi

The study which this thread is based on. Anyways looks like no ones interested in the topic, and usually these kinda leads to trolling. so am outta here :enjoy:

The problem is that even the so-called Tibetan and Han are genetically more closely related compared to German and British.

However, India has divided into two big racial groups which are the Indo-Aryan and the Dravidian.

Even Japanese are most genetically related to Chinese but the way Chinese hate Japanese, they can't hate even Indians or Americans to that zenith.

Also, also Indo-Aryan and Dravidians are not distinct, because unlike Chinese we are mixed race. North Indians have more Indo-Aryan influence and lesser Dravidian influence and South India have more Dravidian influence and lesser Indo-Aryan. Like me, I have visited many parts in North and South and people always think that I am a local guy.
