More Syrian Blood on Obama's Hands

Had I been unequivocally sure about 'massacres' going on in Syria...I'd support your stance but the problem is that Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya and the half-truths or out-right lies told about them have made me a 'skeptic' !

I don't care what's going on in other countries. All I see is civilians are being unbelievably tortured, and slaughtered even 1 year old children weren't spared. All I see is a megalomaniac regime who has been constantly refusing to step down which is the only way Syria could have been saved. Armstrong, trust me, he and his thugs are worse than monsters.

Syrian thugs are firing at people who shout "God is great":
This is in Damascus where Bashar's palace is located.

Allah is great...

Where did the author say that?

Weakening an Iranian ally is the point missed by you

That is precisely the point.

However, this I do find rather pointless about this Nato obsession. Remember this,

Clerk said it perfectly by quoting his source, " We gotta clean up Middle East before the next Super Power shows up."

What Obama is doing is just continution of Bush plan. This is also what Bush said that admin following him will follow his path.

I am actually not surprised here.

I live among Syrian refugees, If that helps. Although I followed this uprising moment by moment personally from trusted Syrian friends in Facebook and several Forums. There are proofs my brother, just type "التعذيب في سوريا" on Youtube and you will see what's going on. I swear, my view on this matter doesn't related to sectarianism. I supported all uprisings in Arab world although the leaders are Sunni. If you search bro, I am sure you will come up with the same view.

Alright I believe you but if, hypothetically speaking, I had the right to make that call ! I'd say 'No Intervention' still because these things haven't a very good track record and we might end up installing a regime thats even worse than 'Asad'.....so hard-ball in the diplomacy arena is the way to go for now !

I am sure Bashar is having the time of his life. It will just keep going down hill from here. Anyone ever noticed how the Mexican Los Zetas cook their opponent in 50 gallon drums ?

The big questions are: Will Syria be a safer/better country if Assad is deposed? Is Iraq a safer/better now that Saddam Hussein is gone? Do Assad opponents have the audacity to revolt in this magnitudes if US/NATO and GCC didn't show signs of supports? Would Assad sent his military if his opponents are benign ordinary citizens.

I was a strong opponent of Iraqi preemptive war because I didn't think the result would create a better Iraq and in certain part of the world it's better to have a strong man to keep the ambitious and unsatisfied few away from the average defenseless citizens. No one, especial the west, should be the juror, the judge and the executioner of a society in which they not familiar with.

Open USA's history and all you will see is BLOOD, since WWII, USA have done nothing to humans but problems and wars. Enough said

Briefly, Here, we are in a situation with two choices, either you pressure the regime to step down which is impossible to happen, in the mean time, more and more people will get killed and that's what's going on. Or you say yes and save thousands of lives. The two choices are bad, but the worst is the first one. I know how you feel and think, I was like you a year ago but it's getting worse day by day. Forget about me, Syrians know better and are desperately calling for an intervention. I believe the longer we stand by the higher probality of a total civil war to interrupt, as a result, Syria will turn to another Afghanistan. If UN intervened military 10 monthes ago, the situation would have been far less complicated. It is late now, but it stills better to make a move.

The situation in Libya was expected but it's doing fine and things are getting better.

The west's and the peaceful protesters democracy, this is their democracy they can't even accept the others view so they attack them, and they got attacked in the "democracy land", and the cops didn't do anything, they arrived 45 minutes late.

Aryan, I think you miscalculated what the point of the article real is.

It goes against your 'no invasion of Syria' view point.

The level of violence will progressively get worse. Each one will be more shocking than the one before.

The massacre of Syrian Sunnis by this animal Bashar Al Assad is deplorable. I predict this low life Bashar Al Assad will eventually be found hiding in a SEWER PIPE like his other contemporaries (Qadhafi and Saddam). All these dictators are a throwback from a different era and their time is up.
