Israel is the stolen land like Europeans did with Australia and Northern America.
Hey, if you want to go *that* far back in history (might be a good idea to consider only the history since EU powers made straight-lined borders in the middle east, which was well before the creation of Israel), you really have to be complete;
- list *every* military conquest by the Europeans and their US descendants, and feel free to point our mistakes like slavery and the near erradication of native american and native australian cultures, but also those aspects of all that conquering that can be considered benefitial to human culture (such as the erradication of cannibalism)
- list *every* conquest by muslim nations (since the same start date, whatever u choose for that), and be honest again about both attrocities and positive influences those forces had on the conquered.
- list what the current generations on 'both sides' have done to restore damage done by their ancestors by cultures they conquered, or if they currently do the opposite, admit mistakes by the current generation of leaders on each side (far more interesting than those ancient conquests if u ask me, due to the evolution of human culture (busses and airplanes prime examples) and our now vastly increased population counts)
Karmatic accountancy is not as simple as just listing your opponents' culture biggest failures, and pretending your own culture didn't make aaaany at all.
That said, ain't it a bit STUPID to focus on history (unless you wanna bring the evil in the human genome into view), when it's ONLY THE FUTURE THAT MATTERS TO YOUR CHILDREN AND THEIR CHILDREN AND SO ON?
Yes, we must learn from the past, but to point out mistakes by leaders now long dead (especially in the limited and very one-sided way you just did), will only serve to increase anger in too many people (not me tho) in the cultures that are now in an intensified state of war with eachother. Have I ever, ever, criticized muslim conquests in the past (let alone use that as idealogical ammunition), your good Prophet Mohammed included? I mean, he did do some evangelizing by the sword, didn't he? Isn't that the man you get the idea from it's OK to impose *your flavor of muslim social rules* onto even other flavors of Islam, by using violence? I'm willing to stop mentioning this, and on my soul's destiny (hell/heaven), i swear this is the very first time I bring this up (Mohammed's evangalizing by the sword and the influence it had on muslim culture) in any conversation since I started my world(-politics)-improvement work on 2001/9/11.
