In Pakistan, the young people have been more careful and you don't see them dating in the streets but they have private parties in homes. You probably have not visited Islamabad recently ! This is common even in Lahore and Karachi believe me I have attended quiet a few parties. These are just normal parties where young people meet, talk, dance, eat and drink. Probably they did not invite you since you may not have met their standards.
